What a beautiful home to spend time with family at. It had something for everyone. Great location, right next to the river and 10 minutes from Porcupine dam. Plenty of room for everyone to have fun and relax.
We loved staying here! It was beautiful and peaceful. We enjoyed playing in the backyard, riding bikes nearby and just relaxing to the sound of river. The house had everything we needed and was just right for our family. We all want to come again!
Our family of 7 stayed here for over a week. The home was clean, spacious and, really, one of the most beautiful places we've ever stayed. The host was extremely helpful and communicative and really went out of his way to see to our every need. We will never stay anywhere else in Cache Valley.
It is in Paradise, Utah, and that is such an apropos description! Difficult to make up your mind whether to go outside and enjoy the gorgeous surroundings that were a feast for the eye 360, or to stay in the cool, updated, palatial home. Any of the few inquiries to the owner was answered quickly and to more than our satisfaction.
We had a great time staying here. Very peacefull.
And it was close to the trails that we could take off and go for the day in our side by side. Hubby liked fishing in the pond and river behind the house. At night we discovered an owl close by that we enjoyed watching.
We greatly enjoyed our stay at this property! The house had plenty of space for our family. The kitchen was well appointed, beds comfy, plenty of seating in the living room.
The location was perfect - river was beautiful, quiet and remote. My daughter was pleasantly surprised to find a fun trampoline on site! We enjoyed taking walks past the neighboring cows, sheep, and horses every day while enjoying the amazing mountain views.
The only slight problem (very slight) was that the house is in a bit of a remote location and the internet was iffy. We brought our own MiFis that worked well when the house MiFi did not, so it was not an issue for us.
Todd was an excellent host and answered all of our questions immediately.
Thanks Todd - I hope we have a chance to visit again!
The house itself is lovely! Very peaceful and relaxing. The humongous couches were a definite favorite! The rooms were big and the beds were very comfortable! The kiitchen is huge and had everything we needed. There were a few things that could use some TLC. There was a leak in the ceiling over the dinning room area. The ping pong table area in the garage needs some serious cleaning. The bushes along the drive way had been trimmed, but the branches had not been cleared off the driveway. We had to pull branches out from under our cars a few times. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
The property and house were very beautiful. The owner was really helpful if we had any questions. It is located 40 minutes or so from Brigham City. If you go a bit south, about 10 minutes away there is shopping and restaurants.
The only issue was the windows were difficult to open and close. The owner was very responsive and tried to help but it was just one of those things. The windows should be fixed soon. In the area, since it is so beautiful, doesn't have great wifi - it's basically a hotspot. ATT doesn't work well but T-mobile does work well. Not a big deal, just be prepared in case one needs to work from the house.
Beds were comfortable, we had 7 adults in the house and were very comfortable. We would stay there again for sure.

Thank you! And thank you for reporting the windows. 22 new windows going in next month!!
Great remote location beautiful stream (Winter stay)
The remote location was perfect for our family to gather for a white Christmas. On arriving the home was decorated with several Christmas items including a lighted tree! Nice touch!! Large kitchen and living area was great for our large family to socialize and quality table was nice for playing games. Front room and Master have amazing postcard view of river that flows right next to house. If you know how to use a flyrod you should bring it. Amount of kitchen items was above average. A couple areas with cleanliness issues was only thing below 5 stars on our visit. Would stay here again
We rented this property for our very small intimate wedding. It was perfect!! So relaxing with the river in the backyard, and no neighbors. Our ceremony was right by the river, the trees were perfect for our guests to stay in the shade during the ceremony and also when we ate. Everyone loved the location. Perfect for what we wanted and needed. We are planning a return trip for our anniversary all ready!! The photos do not do this property justice, it was beautiful!
We rented this property as a place for family to get together. The property was huge, offering plenty of space for kids to play. Everyone had a great time we will definitely be coming back.
My family and I had a great experience at this home. The setting was even more beautiful than pictured. I had children my sister and a few grandchildren and loved the accommodations. We also used the back yard for a very small family wedding,
and served a small buffet inside after.
Todd was very accommodating, a very friendly and easy to work with. I would not hesitate to rent again it was perfect for what we needed. Thanks again Todd we appreciate your hospitality.
We have never done a vrbo before. So I was not so sure about it. This place was absolutely beautiful! Everything was perfect, from the rooms, linens, kitchen had everything you could need, spacious. The river in the back was breath taking. And the lake just up the road. We took our rzrs and quads. So many places to ride. Fishing was great. We have now made this our annual vacation spot. I can not say enough great things about this house and location. It’s Secluded and yet 10 min to town. Best vacation hands down
Excellent home just outside of Logan. Beautiful property with plenty of things to do with the pond, stream, ping pong, HUGE family room/kitchen area. Perfect for a large family or more than one family. Clean and comfortable! Todd the host is excellent. His communication is immediate if you have a question, and is more than willing to help. Our family would love to stay here again. Thanks Todd.
We had a great stay at this property. The house is spacious and well situated for some great river fun. The kitchen is well laid out. The beds were comfy and thete was plenty of room. Thanks! For a great vacation!!!
My (now) wife and I looked for a place hold a small ceremony for close family and friends. A listing in Paradise, Utah pops up and it was spot-on.
The property is AMAZING. The stream, the pond, the field, the kitchen, the entrance…wow, just wow! The house was well stocked, the linens were quite nice, there’s so much room and so much light. We loved it and like I said, the property is amazing!
There are a few of things to note, however:
The WiFi isn’t very good. I just used my iPhone as a hotspot. My data throughput was way better than that offered.
There’s a occupied dwelling on the property and it’s adjacent to the backyard, so it may not feel as private as some would like. Personally, the gentleman next door was cool as a breeze. He was easy to talk to, and kept to himself.
There are dogs next door and they “converse” with the rooster every morning. You get used to it. I thought it was cute.
If you plan an event, be sure to make arrangements to have your excess trash hauled off. There’s only one sanitation Dept trash can for property. No big deal, but people should be made aware.
There’s a trampoline in the backyard, and we thought it might interfere with our wedding photos and whatnot, but in the end, we were able to shoot around it, and it really helped with the kids that showed up for one of the days we were there. It was a godsend in the end.
I would recommend this property to anyone looking for a big house with plenty of room for family and friends. The property is set up quite well for events like small weddings, reunions, etc…
Lastly, the owner/property manage was a joy to work with. He was open and available, and kind.
I hope to rent this property again and again… 10 out of 10!

Thanks you! And I really appreciate the information you provided on your review as well!
I can’t say enough good things about this property! It is off the beaten path, and the solitude contributes to a very peaceful and relaxing location. Yet there are plenty of activities within 10-30 minutes. The house itself was very large-plenty of room for everyone to spread out. It had every amenity you could possibly think of. The kitchen was very well stocked with tools. It was clean and the beds were comfortable. The grounds were absolutely amazing! The location on the river led to many days of enjoying the back yard, and evenings sitting around the gas fire pit listening to the soothing sounds of the river. There were yard games, a nice long driveway to walk along and enjoy the wildlife, and beautiful scenery. Definitely definitely hope to return!
Wonderful home that made you feel relaxed in a peaceful setting. Well stocked with things to utilize during the stay and an ambiance that made everything drift away with the river in the back. Excellent communication as well.
We were looking for a big house to celebrate our sons graduation and be able to all be together. The house was very big and had everything we needed.

About the host
Hosted by Todd Henderson
Todd and Lisa. We have four children. We love visiting Avon to fish, ride our horses, and spend time by the river.
Why they chose this property
We love to get away and enjoy quiet country days. This is a great place to disconnect, sit by the river, fish, drive the canyons, and see wildlife. Anytime we go here, it really feels like we got away.
