In town with extended family for WMU graduation. Host was responsive to our questions and needs. Comfortable house with lots of spaces for enjoying the outdoors and the beautiful lake views. We would stay again.

Glad you enjoyed your stay! Your welcome back any time:-)
The property was clean and in a lovely location on the lake. It would be helpful for older guests (like us) to have sturdy handrails on all the steps outside. Also there is no kitchen sink which was a bit of a surprise.

Not worth the price , home inadequate to rent
Very poor home. No ac, no sink, no covid cleaning, pics are very misleading. The electric in home is so poor you can't charge a cell phone as no outlets are working. Duck tape used to keep tile on bathroom walls, which at falling apart. Worst home I ever stayed in and I rent homes on vrbo since 2005. They should be taken down from the site as this group clearly has no idea on how to rent vacation homes. The home needs a major upgrade on electric and windows are painted shut so if you want fresh air that is no option either. Very poor home and amenities don't work! Don't rent this dump!

Catherine I’m sorry you where so disappointed with the accommodations. We wish you would have shared your concerns during your stay so we could have had a chance to address them to the best of our ability the way we did your complaint about the cleaning, in which we had the cleaning company arrive within 2 hrs of your message and re-clean the areas you asked to be addressed.
Our description of the space specifies not having a sink which is also noted on other reviews, I’m sorry this did not meet your expectations. Hopefully in the future we will have the ability to meet or exceed them. We wish you the best in your future VRBO experiences.
DO NOT TRUST THIS HOST.
-My reservation was double booked by the host. The host Santiago calls me the day of my stay to tell me he double booked our reservation. Then Santiago offers us to stay for free from Saturday to Monday. Santiago said he would provide a full refund and credit my charges with VRBO. I accepted this so atleast we could still bring the family on vacation. He did this because if he had to cancel and refund my reservation his rating would be lowered on VRBO. I agreed. Then after our stay I contacted Santiago for my refund. He made a few excuses why he has not sent the refund, then he sends me a partial refund payment. Then he calls me to tell me he is only providing partial payment because he thinks that is fair. Total scammer. Complete liar. Now I am in the process of working with VRBO customer service to get my full refund back. They have not been helpful either. My next step is to contact my bank about the charges.
-Lets chat about Santiago's poor construction installation throughout the home. Everything looks to be installed by a blind handy man that his only tool he uses is a hammer and staple gun. The kitchen sink backs up since the disposal does not work. The sink in the basement leaks. The "tile" on the wall has staples in it. Electrical is not up to code. The stairs to get down to the lake are terrifying and dangerous for older people. My father-in-law fell. The boat gates are broken & the seats are ripped. NEVER AGAIN
We stayed for two nights recently and enjoyed this property. Santiago took care of any needs we had and was very nice. I should emphasize this is a LAKE HOUSE. Not the Hilton. It's quiet, has cement floors, modern decorations and amazing lake views / access. The only thing it lacks is a sink to wash dishes. It's right next to a small market too. If you're looking for a perfect, high end place to stay this is not it. However if you want a nice relaxed place that's quiet on a lake then this is it.
We enjoyed our stay. It does appear to be in the midst of updates/construction, but it did not hinder our stay. It is still a comfortable and attractive place. It has a wonderful view of the lake and a nice large deck to enjoy. The host was helpful and responsive.
Great place on a beautiful lake. There are neighbors, but with the layout of the property it feels very private and secluded. Lots of wildlife to watch on the lake, and the pontoon boat is nice. The host, Santiago, is lovely and a welcoming host.

Work in progress but memories were made.
We didn't know what to expect renting the floor out, but Santiago was great at showing us around and was accessible when we needed him. My son enjoyed being able to swim right there, we rented the boat, did some tubing, had little luck fishing off the boat but caught several from the dock. The view was amazing to wake up to. The place appears to be in a remodeling stage and is a little rough but we would love to come back in a couple of years and see the finished project.

Hi there Cassie!
It was a pleasure having you. So sorry that your part of the house was still rough. Would love your feedback on what on your floor could have been better or needing improvement.
