House was clean and comfortable. The house cooled down at night, but was pretty warm during the day. Fans helped and porch and outdoor patio was super. Wifi would have made it even better.

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Disliked: Communication, listing accuracy
property not as described- lack of host communication- we left early
Unfortunately, the cottage was not winterized nor did it have heat which was not listed in the description on the VRBO website. If this was shared, we would not have booked a stay here for 3 nights over memorial day weekend in RI near the water. It was 48 degrees outside with pouring rain and inside it was so cold we could see our breaths. We were up all night due to freezing temperatures and a neighbors fire alarm that went off for 3 hours straight. The next morning we contacted the host sharing our discomfort and did not hear from her for 4 hours. We packed up and left as we could not remain inside any longer with freezing temperatures.
The host was very difficult to get ahold of throughout our trip and was highly unprofessional. When we asked to be reimbursed for one of the three nights (we stayed less than 24 hours) due to lack of description that there wasn't heat/home was not winterized- she attacked us verbally saying she was not "mother nature" and that I was being "ridiculous". I would NOT recommend staying here based on the host's lack of responsiveness, unprofessional nature, and the inability to heat/cool the house.
The house is very clean and cozy. The location is beautiful but the upstairs bedroom is extremely hot during the day. It’s an attic bedroom and fans and windows didn’t help. Also a few tiny ants in the kitchen. Overall a great place to stay.
The cottage is compact. One bedroom is in the attic which wasn’t clear when I rented. It was very hot during the day in the attic and really not usable. However, very comfortable for sleeping with an overhead fan and lovely breeze. I suggest putting in a small air conditioner both upstairs and downstairs. Also having WiFi would be a plus since there isn’t any now. The area is great and with some upgrades, the house would be much improved.
We had a fabulous time staying in Lori’s super cute cottage. We had fun time sailing, strolling on the beach, jogging and running in the neighborhood or sitting on the front porch doing nothing. Perfect time for winding down. Lori is a great host. Will come back!
Super cute and clean cottage. Check in was a breeze. We enjoyed drinking coffee on the front porch in the morning. The closest beach is an easy walk. We rode our bikes to Tappens beach.... beautiful beach and no crowds. We would definitely go back
