I would stay here again. The property does need cleaned better. The floors need steammopped, the curtains need wiped down, windows need cleaned and the sliders going to the beach need greased. Other than needing some cleaning services, the hotel room itself is big. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was big for cooking. I loved it being oceanfront. The ease to the beach was nice.

Amazing

It was an amazing place that was well maintained. Expectations were set prior with no surprises upon arrival. A spectacular place with a very reasonable price. It met all our expectations, and we have a wonderful time.

Disappointed

I have loved other trips and only left great reviews but this was rough. We were disappointed in the property, cleanliness, safety, parking situation. There was a couple of spots of what looked like blood on the back of one of the doors, very stained bedding, and thick dust in several areas. They did send replacement bedding but did not address the door that would not lock - to flat roof access and master bedroom. The bathroom shower door kept coming off of the rails and there was mildew.

Awesome view

Overall stay was awesome but slightly disappointed with the appearance upon arriving. First, the elevator to the penthouse needs a little TLC. The trim was falling off, then the door lock had been replaced and you could see that the older lock was larger than the new lock, just a little paint. Then inside of the penthouse, the downstairs bathroom toilet barely flushed, and the upstairs toilet just needs to be replaced. When you hear the word Penthouse you are expecting everything to look nice but other than the few issues we had a great time. The view is unbelievable!

The good and the bad. The bad. The furniture is broken and worn out and full of sand and food. We put sheets over them to sit on. The beds are worn out and you can clearly see the dents in beds one had blood on the sheets. Don’t sit on the bar stools they will fall and break. I did try to fix them but the bolt holes are worn out and want tighten. There is black mold around the air vents you can see where someone tried to chalk over it. The dishwasher smells like fish and eggs I did try to clean it out but it didn’t help. I cleaned the bathroom sink bc they were clogged with hair and nasty. The elevator is very scary you can hear the cables popping between floors 2 thru 4. The tv will freeze up while watching tv you will have to unplug it and plug back in. One tv doesn’t even work not all TVs have all the channels like the living tv. There is no cabinets for food so don’t buy a lot at once. Had to call every week for a door code and it never worked. You shouldn’t have to clean a condo you rent they charge you a cleaning fee so they need to be cleaned professionally. Oh and the rug I hope they cleaned it bc you can rake ur shoe across it and just watch what happens it was nasty I tried to clean it the best I could and no a vacuum want. The good. The view is nice you don’t have some high raise blocking your view. You have access to a lot of groceries stores and restaurants that are very close. We stayed a month and it was okay. We will come back to MB area but want stay here.

Getting to the room was a little confusing. When you pull into the Savoy (small hotel behind a bigger one) the parking lot spaces all say reserved but none with your room number, so i was unsure of where to park. Then, theres a code to get into the building which was not given to us, a guest let us in. Elevator stopped on random floors a few times, with no one there, but ok, lol. The carpet on the outside corridor needs to be cleaned, it had a smell. We were advised to bring extra towels (said only 3 were provided and i have a family of 5), bring toilet paper and hair dryers. There were ample in the room so those were things i could have left home. Also said bring blankets because only bedspreads were there, but a small throw would have been ok instead of a blanket. The rooms were all nice size, surprised at the size of the living room, they were all great. Love the balcony views, from all 3 balconies, didnt know there were 3 and they were all used, that was neat! The condo itself was clean, no sand on the floor which was nice. The frying pans need to be replaced, the normal wear and tear was pretty rough. One toaster slot kept burning the bread. Theres no grill on property and people pop fireworks late at night. The worst thing about the condo is the heavy sliding glass shower doors; they kept coming off track which was not good for a 100lb girl, scared her while calling for help and holding it up.
