Blue is a lovely 3 bedroom holiday home, sleeping six people. Open-plan living/dining. This house makes you feel at home the minute you walk in!

Fully equipped kitchen with microwave. TV, DVD and washing machine. Phone and Wireless Internet included.

Beach access is just through the back garden gate, a minute walk.

Nearby cafe's, restaurants, golf, tennis, mini-golf, blow-karts.....all within easy walking distance. There is a small store/supermarket nearby as well.

Idyllic bach in Pohara

Our stay in Pohara was everything we had hoped for in a bach. Idyllic location, roomy, comfy bach set in a beautiful garden. A very happy reunion of family and friends - so thank you to Margaret and family for allowing us to use it.

Excellent stay!

Garden and deck were a major highlight, worthy exchange for a beach view, and the access to the beach was super quick and easy. Garage with extra fridge storage and beach toys was much appreciated. All rooms and beds were very comfortable. One bathroom for six folks was a little tight but totally manageable, just worth being aware of. Highly recommend, thanks Margaret!

Great location and lovely holiday home. Worked well with little ones. Owner was lovely and very helpful and was generous with check in and out times. It’s was quite expensive but also comparable with other holiday homes in the area. A lovely place to stay.

Brilliant Blue

Such a fabulous bach in an awesome location. The house was super clean on arrival and was a great layout for our group. Lovely indoor / outdoor flow onto a deck and garden that we spent most of our time in. A quick pop through the back gate to the beach and walking/ cycling track. The owner was so lovely and easy to deal with. Would very happily stay again :)

Awesome bach for family stay

This was a great home to stay at for our family Pohara trip (kids 13, 11, 7 and 2), lovely and close to beach access at end of garden, beach toys provided for the wee ones, really comfy beds, everything you need in kitchen, and great space. Margaret was super to deal with and helpful. Only thing it needs is a dryer to get clothes dry on those rainy days! We've booked again for a few days at the end of summer.

Second time here and once again very happy.....comfortable, seaside home with tasteful decor and everything on hand. I love this home, it has a seaside feel to it but is not too "bachy" - light and airy and a beautiful leafy front garden as a bonus.

This place is awesome

Everything about this place is lovely - perfect location near a long sandy beach, close to cafes and restaurants and the Takaka town, good size and excellently kitted out with everything you need. Margaret was easily contactable and really helpful. We had two couples stay and there was plenty of room for us to relax in. Not to mention the endless amount of things to do in Golden Bay. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Margaret for making your place available.
