Two lovely bedrooms and nice bathroom- great place to stay in Wellington near restaurants. Very quiet. Wnderful bird sounds from your bed! A set of steps leads to the downstairs apartment with lots of light and nice amenities.

We believe the listing provides accurate details about our property, including the number of rooms.
However, based on your feedback, we will make it clearer to potential guests that the location is a downstairs flat, not an entire house.
Thanks for your review. We are sorry you did not like everything about your stay.
Great instructions!! Follow the directions exactly and you will find it easily! Long steep driveway and stairs going up just take your time! Lovely birds singing , the decor is beautiful and very clean! Very responsive host!! Enjoy!!!
Lovely little place, beautifully presented / decor. Waking up to the sounds of the native birds, surrounded by trees really made you feel like you were rugged up in a tree house. Only recommendation would be to put the books in a container as they smell slightly musty and if possible providing a pair of scissors (for coffee sachets etc) would be great. Could be quite chilly if staying over winter but there are heaters provided. Otherwise 10/10 would absolutely stay again.

What makes this property unique
The Tui Nest is a private self-contained unit beneath our family home with its own entrance. It has two spacious bedrooms and a modern bathroom. It does not have a kitchen but has kitchen amenities such as a microwave and fridge. It has an attractive outdoor area that often draws native bird life. It is located away from the street and is usually very quiet and tranquil. It comes with its own off-street parking area and is close to the hospital and the shops and eateries of Newtown.
