Trudy went out of her way to welcome us, make us feel at home, and give us advice on what to do and where to eat. The apartment was beautiful and came with all the extras you expect in a five star hotel.

Trudy and David provide a special place to their guest, warm and welcoming, very well set out. All information was communicated well ahead of time and the pictures are accurate. For us this was a fantastic start of our NZ holiday. Thanks Trudy for making us feel so at home.

A quality property with views forever

What a wonderful stay we had, the hosts were wonderful and showed us around while we could not help but enjoy the amazing views toward Auckland city and harbour and distant views to Bethell's beach in the opposite direction. We felt very welcome & from the moment we walked into the apartment which is below the main house, we felt this is a quality property the views were awesome. You are in the picturesk countryside but only a short 30 - 40 min drive to the city. We felt very privelidged to stay here & would love come back again.

I stayed here with my bridal party the night before my wedding at Jonkers Farm and then my husband and I stayed for a few nights after. I felt so relaxed during my stay as the property is extremely comfortable and has all the amenities we needed. It was the perfect space for myself and three bridesmaids to get ready for the wedding. Highly recommend!

Great living room to lounge in with cool air-con while watching the rugby on sky! Deck wraps around the whole property so if you want to sunbathe this place is for you. Stunning views out over the waitakere ranges with some views of bethells beach through the valley. Oh.........and superb bathroom/shower. Great water pressure and un-enclosed showering area!

Wow! What a lovely experience.

Wow! What a lovely experience. Trudy has thought of everything, from picnic essentials to complimentary snacks - such a fantastic place. Our stay was truly relaxing with touches of luxury to help us feel like we were really on a resort vacation. Levi the dog was an extra awesome bonus! Thank you so much, we hope to visit again.

Such easy people to deal with, and the place was fabulous. We would definitely return. This is under the owners house but has its own deck and outlook of the bush. I found the bed a bit hard, but in all honesty that is probably personal preference, and it certainly wouldn't stop me from returning, it does feel like a long way out, but in actual fact it is only about 15minutes.

This really was a little slice of heaven.

This really was a little slice of heaven. The views from both the front and back are surreal especially at sunset. Beautiful place and even better hosts. They were friendly and provided us with everything we needed to know. Their dog has a nice surprise upon entry. We got the whole of downstairs, more space than needed! Also, even though u may hear creaks of footsteps upstairs, you can make noise comfortably as it does not travel upstairs. Great stay.

... you have a fascinating view to the Tasman Sea or from the opposite side to Auckland. Many things will make your life comfortable, whether it's a fine selection of Films on DVD, delicious wines in the fridge, or a muesli mixed by Trudy, selected sweets and so on. You are close to the Waitakere Ranges with walking tracks through the Rainforest or to the Beaches at the Tasman Sea. Visiting Auckland is comfortable by taking the train from Swanson station .

We used the house for our bridal party (girls) to stay at pre/post wedding. The house was immaculate, the views were stunning and it was such a relaxing spot pre wedding to unwind and prepare. We all had good sleeps and the day went without a hitch! The girls all then returned on the wedding night with their partners who were in awe of the phenomenal views! Highly recommend Trudy's place as a great retreat or for Cassel's Brides pre wedding <3

We had the entire lower deck to ourselves with complimentary TV/wi-fi, food/drinks and informative books on places of interest to check out. Comfy bedrooms and a bathroom to die for! We definitely loved our stay here and will highly recommend to friends to stay if they venture the Waitekere Ranges like we did.

Superbly presented and appointed apartment, beneath their house, giving complete privacy. The deck area is enormous and has a view to die for. Ideal location from which to explore the Waitakere Ranges and beaches. Have already recommended it to friends.
