A fantastic holiday house

There were 7 adults staying in this house so it was great having three well equped bathrooms. The entire house is so well equiped. There was a large kitchen with a huge fridge, plenty of pantry space and everything you could need in a kitchen. Lots of living space.Beds were very comfortable and the host was very easy to communicate with.

The perfect spot

My family (Nan, Grandpa, my brother, sister in law, 3 nieces, nephew and myself) stayed at this holiday home for 6 wonderful nights. The property had everything that one could ask for and more. The location could also not have been better. Gabrielle was a fabulous host and communicated with me in the weeks leading up to the trip. The suite on the lower level had been damaged in the August floods and unfortunately could not be used but they provided a caravan for our us to use to make up for the shortfall in beds. This was a perfect solution. It was the best family vacation that we have had in a very long time. Many memories were made that will be shared for years to come, I'm sure.

Girls weekend 60th birthday.

Overall very good, with excellent facilities. My wife was staying with her school teacher friends. We we’re pre warned about some decorating going on which was fine, but not told there was no vacuum to clean prior to leaving. One thing needs to be sorted is the downstairs shower temperature regulator was playing up and needs looking at. My wife rang the help number prior to leaving and was told the vacuum had broken, plus the lady apologised for not leaving the bath mats out.

Holidays at a time of flooding

We organised a holiday in Golden Bay at an unfortunate time - a time of unprecedented flooding. Our Pohara base was a sanctuary after stressful days negotiating mud and closed roads. The house was warm, dry and easily accommodated our needs. Thanks to Gabrielle for checking in on our situation with the flooding.
