gorgeous big deck all along the front to sit and enjoy the lake view
deck off main bedroom and main deck to dine in style with the lake view
two boat ramps just up the road, one 2mins drive,one 5 mins drive
beach access right across road opposite bach and another beach with picnic area boat ramp 2mins drive
half way between Rotorua and Whakatane,35mins each way, great for perhaps shopping or to dine out!
Kawerau only 15mins drive for bigger grocery shop
local shop, cafe, liquor store and petrol station 5 mins drive

If you are bringing small dogs or young children ,please be mindful of our leather furniture & rimu wood furniture, thankyou.
Please do not go into anything marked 'Personal use only' The last 12mths we've had items taken.
Please enjoy the 3 kayaks on the lake ,please leave oars and life jackets tidy after use ,thankyou.

Sue is a fantastic host. The check in and check out info was really helpful. The property is great with a fantastic view of the lake. The boat ramp is less than a minute away and we also used the bach mooring when we came back from skiing for lunch. Sue also left us some coffee pods to use in the coffee machine which was a nice touch. Definitely recommend this property for families looking to relax close to the lake.

Next to SH 30 across the lake. 45 mins to tarawera fall and 15 mins to soda spring . No internet, but we felt like we needed a break from our phone. We went for a row with kayak. We will be back again next summer .

Beautiful by the lake

We enjoyed our stay very much, and enjoyed the view over the lake the most. The house had everything we need for a comfortable stay. Loved going kayaking and bbq-ing on the deck.

Beautiful spot

We loved it here, its a fantastic spot and has everything you need. We used the kayaks every day and spent time swimming, biking and hiking in the area and otherwise just soaked in the views from the deck. Thanks for having us :)

Gorgeous setting

Lake Rotoma is a pristine lake, msgical for water sports, kayaking and swimming. The bach on golden mile allowed us to make the most of the lake with its gorgeous views and accessibilty to the boat ramp. The bach was clean and cheerful carering for family group of adults well.

super lake front location

Very nice location--easy to travel to all activity spots. Nice small and warm house, highly recommended. Even there is no internet, but that can keep the children out of all the devices.

Easter Fun

The bach is in a great location with easy access and had everything we needed for a great stay. We spent our days playing on the lake and then sat on the deck at night watching the sunset. It was a great way to spend Easter. Would definitely come back.

Perfect break away

What a great property to come to relax in and take in the breath taking views of the lake! Our family had a wonderful relaxing time away here. Bach had everything we needed and was very comfortable.
