About this property

Beach holidays don't get any better than this!

This stand alone home is located near the Airport and Tahuna Golf course on a cul de sac, and the last house down a shared driveway. There's ample off street private parking for 2 cars. The house has a completely set-up kitchen (including large fridge, freezer, induction hob, oven, microwave etc), which opens into the lounge (heat pump/aircon, tv, stereo). Ranch sliders open the lounge to the west-facing large deck (think sunsets!). There's a bbq, sun umbrella etc. Also on the ground floor is one bedroom (queen bed), bathroom (shower and toilet), and laundry (washing machine and another toilet). Upstairs is another large bedroom (queen bed) and a trundle bed. There's a large completely fenced and secured yard. A private back gate enters directly into the famous Tahunanui Beach Holiday Park, which provides an off-road park like stroll directly to the beach.
This property is near the airport, therefore on the flight path of domestic flights (Airport closes at night).

Property was exactly as advertised. Great location close to the beach and with a fenced back yard it was a great place to take our dog. Well equipped and comfortable bed. Certainly appreciate pet friendly accommodation. Communications were easy.

Chosen for location close to Motor Camp

The property was very comfortable and generally met our needs. The shower was a little cramped and shower head kept flipping down. We weren't able to tighten the fitting. The narrow drive and tight turning circle into carport necessitated backing in or out for larger vehicle.

It was great that the host allowed my two dogs to stay. They had a well fenced section which was awesome. The house was perfectly described. There were good clear explanations on rubbish and recycling. The host got back to me very quickly when a latch unexpectedly fell off the window which was great to see such an immediate response. It was a little cold upstairs, although there was an electric blanket on the double bed. No electric blanket downstairs though. The bathroom was adequate and there were two toilets. We could only find one towel each though and it was hard to dry them in such wet and cold conditions that weekend with only one towel rail. Sadly, the pressure in the shower was minimal. The location was excellent in relation to the beach.

Fantastic location

Lovely property however the house needs a thorough clean as quite dusty, carpet needs a deep clean. We couldn't use the BBQ as still had food remnants on the plates.

The bed arrangement was different to what was in the house description which created some issues to us (there are no bunk beds). The house is very small and isnt really equipment for the amount of people it can sleep. Even cooking for 4 people and eating inside required some adjustments. Overall very good location, super close to the beach, nice beds and tidy house. Its more of a "sleep only, spend all your time outside - kinda house".

Tidy, all the little touches Count!

This Bach you noticed all the small things that the owner put out for you like tea, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, washing powder etc. Kitchen was well equipped and the stove and oven are just as good as what we use at home! Made cooking a breeze. The two things that could have been better was the cleanliness of the shower floor, you could see the dirt on it and would scratch off. And would be good if the door of the upstairs bedroom closed/ door handle worked. Apart from that we will stay again! They cater for animals too! Also a kayak in the back yard and a paddle in the hot water cupboard! Thanks a lot We really enjoyed our stay!

This is a great location with the beach and park within walking distance.

This is a great location with the beach and park within walking distance. We loved being in Nelson. This property was great for the kids, the kitchen was well equipped, it was a bonus having a washing machine. It was great to watch the sunset while sitting on the deck in the evening.
