Great place to stay a few mins from all the Niagara attractions
John was an excellent host, the breakfast he brought each morning was just right and got us off to a good start for the day without the need to go out for breakfast. The accommodation itself has everything you need for a multi day stay and room for 2 vehicles off the main road. 3 good sized bedrooms ample comfy seating for all and a fully stocked kitchen. The walk to the falls takes maybe 10 or 15 mins so you save a bundle on parking. Thank you John

Liked: Check-in, communication
I am not able to comment specifically on this property as we were “up graded” to a different property (5580 Peer Lane). I believe the upgrade was more proximity to the falls than the accommodation. Accommodation was mediocre at best and here is the reason I say that: Floors were not clean, kitchen sink had not been cleaned, one used smelly dish cloth provided, no face cloths, coffee maker was not clean and when I cleaned it the plastic cone that holds the filter disintegrated, no cutting board, no dishwasher and one dish drying towel provided. Breakfast was provided and arrived promptly at requested time but pictures would lead you to believe that breakfast was quite a spread in actually fact each morning was identical except one morning was pancakes and then next was French toast (rest of the breakfast consisted of container of apple juice, yogurt cups and some fruit). The breakfast was filling but not what was shown in the pictures.
Overall the location was absolutely great for walking to the casino. There was loads of parking. We managed just fine but certainly the kitchen was a big disappointment (cleanliness and amenities).
When I messaged John to ask for a few things like face cloths, dish clothes and coffee pods, the message was answered quickly and items were delivered promptly (though hand towels given instead of face cloths).
He offered the “up grade” and as stated it must of been locality hopefully not accommodation.

About the host
Hosted by John Pinter
I am former hotelier and have been involved in Niagara’s tourism and hospitality industry since I was ten years old. Having a history degree has led me to embrace Niagara’s colourful past and I can often be found conversing with guests on topics ranging from local geology to the wild wacky adventures of Niagara’s daredevils. I have traveled extensively in North America and Europe and can speak German, French, English, and Hungarian.
In between various stints in the local hospitality industry, I founded and still operate a software development firm which builds reservation and ticketing engines.
The other passion is the restoration of historical buildings. I look forward to hosting you at one of our properties.
Yours truly,
John Pinter
Why they chose this property
The rental is located in the Fallsview Tourist District and is within walking distance to the Falls, Fallsview Casino Resort and the Niagara Falls Convention Center. In addition to the primary attractions, there is a multitude of restaurants which range from family to fine dining and also a great deal of ethnic driven dining establishments. In addition, there is a dollar store and great bakery close by. A full grocery store is less than 1KM away.
What makes this property unique
The property is unique in that it has a twin 3 bedroom unit adjacent. This makes it perfect for larger groups traveling together. The two units together would feature 6 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The property will start featuring a complimentary breakfast as of September 29, 2024. Like all other properties under the Niagara Historic Inns banner, a terrific complimentary breakfast is delivered daily to the house.
