The property was very quiet and relaxing. The air-conditioner works very well. My grandson really enjoyed swimming and fishing from the boat dock on the property.
Check in was easy, awesome little cozy two bedroom cottage close to town and grocery stores . Beautiful sunsets every night, lake was magnificent. Enjoyed our time there definitely would go back.views were gorgeous. House had everything we needed.

Thanks for staying at the Franklin House! Yes the sunsets are hard to beat. Please come again!
House is a vintage lake house. The interior is dated, spare and clean. The lawn and dock area could use some refreshing, however the dock is great for swimming. There are two aluminum ladders on the dock leading into the water. The water is deep and the access would be difficult for young children. There is also a kayak and various water floats/toys available for use.

My biggest complaint was they do not monitor the messages sent from the VRBO web site. I sent several messages that were unanswered and had me wondering if this was a scam property. Overall I was very happy with the property. Unfortunately the grill was broke so we could not cook out. Water area not good for small children as it is rocky and unless they can climb down the ladder, no gradual slope to get into the water, but ok for adults. Inside was nice. Good kitchen utensils and beds were comfortable. Everything was very clean. It can be a bit confusing getting in and out of the area, but once we finally figured out we were closer to "town" than the GPS took us it was much easier. I would stay here again.
