About this property

Only accessible by ferry! If this is your first trip to Daufuskie you are in for a wonderful surprise! From the minute you walk thru the front door the flooring leads you to the charming living area with a ocean theme. Open the doors and enjoy your morning coffee surrounded by breathtaking waterfront views on your own private screened in porch. Our kitchen is furnished with a full size appliances and equipped with everything needed to prepare casual or gourmet meals. The dining area has a table with seating for 8 and there are 3 bar stools for dining at the breakfast bar. Our cottage can accommodate up to eight comfortably. The living room has a large leather sectional with a leather recliner and large flat screen TV. The master bedroom on the ocean with a King/queen size bed and private bath, the guest bedroom with a king/queen size bed and private bath. Linens are provided and there is a full size washer & dryer in the laundry room off the kitchen. The communal pool is located a 5 minute walk along the cottage. Bring your pets for a non refundable charge . If you are vacationing with family or friends and would like to stay close to them (but not in the same cottage), please consider my other units in the area. Let me know your needs. At the beach life is different, time doesn't move hour by hour but moment to moment. Come live by the currents, plan by the tides and follow the sun. We welcome you to stay and relax in our cottage and hope you leave with memories that last a lifetime!

No access to a pool but a great rental overall

We did not have access to a pool, as advertised. However, we really enjoyed the rental and the island!

Loved the screened patio overlooking the water.

Also, Susan is so nice and very accomodating. It was a lovely stay. The only caution is there are extra costs for the ferry ride and golf cart on the island. BUt overall, a very relaxing vacation!

Beautiful family week at the beach!

We just returned from an incredible week on Daufuskie Island, and this cottage was PERFECT!! We love Daufuskie for the simplicity, the quiet, and the peaceful environment. It is low key, and that is what we needed. Susan was outstanding! She answered any questions immediately - provided any extra details that we needed, including a new Kuerig coffee maker when I was having trouble with the one in the cottage - that afternoon there was a brand new one waiting for us. I cant say enough glowing things about Susan, this cottage, and the island.

Our favorite place!

We had an amazing time at our favorite place! This was our third trip to Daufuskie, and our rental was awesome. Great beach access, stocked with everything we needed for a wonderful vacation. Susan was so helpful from our arrival to our departure. We can’t wait to be back on the island!
