Thank you so much for your feedback of the home in beautiful South Lake Tahoe! We hope we can host you again in the future!
We had a great stay overall! The carpet was a bit damp, and the sheets seemed heavy with detergent, maybe they could use an extra rinse. Other than that, everything was wonderful. Having some coffee available for future guests would be a nice touch. Thanks again!

Thank you for sharing your experience at The Sportsman with us! We’re so glad you had a great stay overall. We do apologize for the carpets, they had just been professionally cleaned the day before your arrival, which may explain the dampness you noticed. We’ll also pass along your thoughtful comments about linens and coffee service for our homeowner team to review. Feedback like this helps us continue to improve the guest experience. We’d love to welcome you back for your next Tahoe adventure!

My family and I went up for my 50th birthday and enjoyed this wonderful home. It was very clean and had all amenities it described. Location is at the end of a court and very peaceful. We were very grateful to stay here and look forward to staying again.
Space had everything we needed for a lovely ski vacation weekend getaway. The different floors allowed for groups to do their thing without getting in the way of eachother, but was large enough when we all gathered together. Hot tub after a day on the slopes surrounded by snow is heavenly, and I dont meant the resort. Hosts had good communication and there were clear instructions for the property. Would stay again!
The property management company was a bit much. They continuously emailed and texted us to remind the details of the contract and check out times. This created an uneasy feeling leading up and throughout the stay making it difficult to enjoy ourselves. The space was nice but outdated. The main bathroom is moldy and the kitchen needs major renovation. I would recommend staying if you didn’t go through the property management company.. definitely not worth the price tag.

Luke, thank you so much for your feedback of the home. In regards to our rental agreement, we apologize that the rules for Vacation renters in the City of South Lake Tahoe are so strict. In fact, our vacation rental ordinance is one of the strictest in the country. We make an extra effort to communicate the rules very clearly since we’d hate for any of our guests to be surprised with an expensive fine on their vacation. Good news for future guests, the kitchen will be remodeled in the spring! So that is coming for future stays. We maintain a very high standard of cleanliness and apologize that you came across any items that were not to your satisfaction. We have notified our cleaning staff to make sure to address these issues for future stays and our team checked for any mold right away to ensure there are no issues for future guests. For future guests to note, we always appreciate the opportunity to address problems while you are in the home, so we can make sure you are enjoying your stay. For future guests to note, please give us a call if you are having any issues. We are available 7 days a week from 9am-6pm PST and we are happy to help right away!
