Great location, it is a third floor walk up and grill is a shared property grill. Property could use some TLC sliding doors are very hard to open and close. Main bathroom toilet is loose and gross looking. View is amazing and totally worth it.

Great family vacation

Property was perfect, great view on large balcony, plenty of space to relax and have family meals, beach was right outside and not crowded and had two pools for cooling off

Just as promised

The condo was exactly as promised. The location was perfect for the two of us. The lift was a nice addition to not make us lug all of our gear up 3 flights of steps. We spent a lot of time on the spacious balcony. We look forward to coming again and would recommend the condo if anyone is considering staying!

Great condo with beach view

This is a great condo to stay in. We were there for two weeks. The kitchen was well supplied with dishes, glasses, and cooking utensils. The balcony is shady with a nice view and there are sturdy Adirondack chairs in front and back to watch sunrise/sunset. Our host answered all our questions promptly.

the condo was clean. would have liked screens on doors and windows and an elevator for transporting luggage up to the third floor. Loved the beach but wish the weather had been more cooperative.

Wonderful Stay!

This was our second stay at Steve's place. It was clean and comfortable. We had a couple of small issues and Anna, the property manager, was promptly on it. The views are spectacular and the beach access can't be beat. There are a lot of stairs to get up there, but the luggage lift is so helpful. It's also nice to know the owner is doing updates and listens to feedback. The beds were super comfortable and I slept so well. I hope we can make it back again next year!

Ocean front condo

The property is very nice, beautiful view of the ocean from the balcony, you can't beat the price. Neighbors are friendly, unfortunately the dryer was not working which was a real bummer because it's a big reason why we choose VRBO. No one even came to check it out, they just told us service wouldn't be available until after we checked out. The beds were backbreaking, time for some new mattresses.

Awesome Week!

We had a great time during our stay at 301 Pier View Condos. There were a few bumps in the road but the property owner was on top of everything. Even had a new fridge delivered while we were there. Couldn’t ask for more prompt attention. The condos are not new so you can’t expect perfection but we were very pleased with our week of the fabulous beach experience. With two grands under the age of 5 the location to the beach is perfect. On top of the beach you have two pools and a playground. Can’t get any better than that. We would recommend and would stay at this location again. Thanks for a memorable stay 301!!!

Wonderful Stay

We loved our stay at PierView! The check in process was simple and easy. The luggage lift was a huge bonus considering it's four flights of stairs. It wasn't too bad as the view from the front and back of the condo were breathtaking and worth the climb. The place was spotless when we arrived and the starter supplies of paper products and soap was much appreciated. My only suggestion is to replace the beds. I understand firm mattresses are preferred, but they were very noisy when getting up or turning over. The owner was very responsive. We had an issue with the cable remote upon arrival. The onsite property manager was there within a couple of hours and fixed the problem. She was great. The beach access is a plus also. My favorite part was the huge balcony looking at the ocean. We saw dolphins most every day. The sunsets aren't too shabby either. Overall we loved our stay and plan to return next summer.

Good communication and good price

The owner was very responsive to any questions and super friendly. The price was great for being right on the beach. Some things I wish I had known prior... No elevator in this building so you'll get a good lower body workout with the steps. There is a lift for luggage though so that defintely helped. The unit itself could use some repair and I defintely expected to find it cleaner, especially with Covid. I didn't complain. We were already there and it would have gotten me nowhere so I picked up some cleaner and did a quick cleaning of the unit after we arrived. Towels and bedding are provided which was nice. I did go buy extra towels though since the unit sleeps six and there were only enough towels for 4. Also if you are planning to use the pullout sofa, there are no sheets or blankets provided for that so you will need to bring those. Overall, for the price, it served its purpose. The view was decent and location was great. We were there for the beach. I would love to see the owner do some necessary repairs and upgrades in the future.

Beach view with easy access to beach. No elevator on property but has working luggage lift which was a lifesaver as we were on the 3rd floor. Easy check in/check out. Host very responsive.

Just what we expected

This condo was exactly as advertised. No surprises. We chose it because the balcony faces a more southerly direction. It has sunlight most of the day and blocks colder winds coming from the north. That is important for a Fall stay. Still had a great view and we enjoyed our time in Nags Head.

301 condo on the beach

Location was great. It was a bit "old" and musty, dehumidifier helped a lot. A/C was good too. No key access to either pool. If we didn't put the tub drains down, when not in use, the bugs and even slugs would be in the tubs. The best part was the beach and the access to it from our room. The weather had us going home a day early.

Beautiful beach condo

Great property right on the beach, close to everything you'd need. The condo was clean. Make sure to bring your own beach towels and chairs, there are not any for use in the condo.

Outer Banks Stay

Location excellent. View terrific. Proximity to markets and restaurants excellent. I realize we were probably the first guests of the season in late March but there was no soap, paper towels, coffee filters or even salt and pepper. If we had guests for our whole stay we would have run out of toilet paper. Needless to say we left the aforementioned for the next guests.

The perfect place for a couples’ beach getaway

Our stay at Pier View condo was absolutely lovely! The property was exactly as advertised in the photos and was clean, bright, and cozy. Our host, Stephen, was communicative and very responsive. This unit is on the third floor, and while there is no pedestrian elevator, there is a luggage lift right by the stairs to take your heavy items up so you don't have to struggle with carrying your things up and down the steps. It fit multiple carry-on bags at a time, and even fit our big Columbia cooler comfortably. The bed was comfortable and we really enjoyed the balcony access that is shared between both the master bedroom and the living room for a nice ocean view. Water pressure in the shower was good, with massage jets in the tub of the master bath. The balcony faces south, so you can see a long span of shoreline all the way down to the Outer Banks Fishing Pier. A great place to enjoy coffee at sunrise. The kitchen has lots of storage and useful appliances/cutlery. Our host left us one complimentary laundry and dishwasher pod to use, as well as standard dish soap, sponge, and some kitchen towels. The condo is just steps from direct beach access. We loved being very short walking distance from Cahoon's market, where we could get groceries and sandwiches for our days spent on the beach, and walk to Sam & Omie's for dinner in the evenings. We loved everything about this condo and had a fantastic time. Thanks, Stephen!
