The Faded Oasis is a newly remodeled 3 bedroom/2 bath with a heated pool vacation home located in the upscale Gulf Gate community of Sarasota, FL -- just 2 miles from Siesta Key (the #1 beach in the USA). This beautiful home is ideal for families with kids or for groups of up to 4 adult couples (8 person max) and is close to numerous popular restaurants & shopping destinations. Sleeping accommodations include a master bedroom with king bed and private bath, 2 additional private bedrooms with queen beds. One of the most popular features, aside from the provided amenities, are the two sliding patio doors going out to the pool (that slide into the wall), allowing for an open-air cabana feel between the main living area and the pool/lanai. There is plenty to do for the family close by, boat rental, bike rentals, kayaking, golf course and the new famous Pop stroke close by or maybe a sunset dinner cruise.

Exactly what we were looking for!

Great house for a Sarasota family vacation! Great pool and patio area for lounging. Although, we realized, the pool was not heated, we made the best of it and the kids were in it nearly every day! Fantastic location close to beaches, shopping and activities. The owner was extremely friendly, responsive and helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to book this property again!

Great few weeks ...... well equipped and comfortable home

Easy drive to the beaches and nice heated pool. Very nicely stocked home with pots, pans, spices. Pool toys, cornhole set, bike, and beach chairs all there. Everything we needed. We will book this home again.

Wonderful!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay! The pool is lovely with a large patio and plenty of seating surrounding. There’s also a nice covered area if you want to get out of the sun while you watch the kids swim. The house has absolutely everything you need and the owner is so friendly and helpful. Beds were comfortable and having two full bathrooms was a huge plus. Many restaurants and stores just a few minutes away and the house is a short drive (Maybe 10 min) from the beautiful beach of Siesta Key. We found a great parking lot near Daiquiri Deck where the beach is just across the road. We also drove to Venice and Manasota beaches to find dozens of fossilized shark teeth! Can’t wait to come back!

Rent a car.

The only thing different i would do would be to rent a car and plan adventures ahead of time. I feel like we wasted time waiting for ubers and lyfts and not knowing what to do.
