About this property
The Cozy Green Cottage - fully stocked cabin in Whaletown close to the ferry
Come relax among the tall trees at the Cozy Green Cottage. The perfect place to call home while you explore Cortes. A newly renovated cabin, offering all the comforts and essentials you would need, tucked in among the cedar forest.
Upon entering, you'll feel the cabin embrace you with an instant cozy warmth. Curl up on the large armchair or couch and read a book, watch something on the TV, play a game, or open the blinds and watch the lively nature that surrounds you.
In the colder months, lounge with a hot drink and enjoy the radiant heat from the wood stove.
In the kitchen you'll find all the tools and spices needed to whip up your favourite meals. Sit down at the dining table and enjoy your food while watching the birds and forest animals.
Sleep deeply on the spacious king-size bed, fitted with 100% cotton sheets, and relax as you take in the quiet peacefulness of the forest.
In the morning, make yourself a delightful latte or soothing tea to start your day off right before heading out on the forest trails nearby, or driving into Mansons, Squirrel Cove, or Smelt Bay for some lovely sightseeing, hikes, and other fun activities.
In the mood for some smoky grilled goods? Whip up some awesome meals on the grill located on the front porch.
The cabin is ready for whatever plans you have for your stay here on Cortes Island.
We ask guests to leave the cabin the way they found it. We take extra care to provide an enjoyable space for our guests and we ask guests to respect the space, the items provided, and our property.
We live on a 9 acre property in the main house. The Cabin is located close enough to the main house for us to easily help with needs, but tucked away for privacy and peace. There is also a treehouse located nearby which gets rented, but not so close as to infringe on guest's privacy.
Our property is a nice mix of forested areas, pathways, and some cleared areas. Guests are welcome to enjoy the forested area behind the cabin. There is a creek so guests are expected to be mindful and exercise safety.
