Very comfortable, clean property with everything you could possibly need. Owners are very responsive to any questions or issues that might arise. Beautiful outdoor areas and we all enjoyed relaxing in. Our pup’s first vacation - he was in heaven!
This property was even better than described. It fit our needs perfectly, and then some. Close to downtown and to the entrance of the National Park. The cabin was very comfortable, coxy and stocked with just about everything you could think of. Communication with the owner was excellent and we had no issues. Can't wait to stay there again.
Dox Den was a lovely place for our family to stay while we explored Shenandoah. About as close as you can get to the park without actually being inside it! Will always look here first for any future trips.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The cabin and its location was perfect after a long day of hiking in Shenandoah National Park. It was nice that we were able to just kick back and relax on the front porch where we saw fox, deer and the resident ground hogs. I highly recommend for any future stays!
This was a super cosy place to stop and break up a long drive back from holiday travel. So warm and comfy, a very welcoming place. Our four year old declared it "perfect."
We have stayed at this lovely property before. It is very quiet, clean and comfortable. I remembered from our last stay that there is no WiFi or cell phone reception so I brought along Yahtzee as a fun distraction! I felt totally relaxed and we both enjoyed the porch more than anything else!
We had a great long weekend here with our dog Reggie, who loved running around the enormous yard. It’s super close to the entrance to Shenandoah yet feels very quiet and private. Everything you need for a good hiking weekend.
Lovely home. The location is quiet and secluded with an expansive yard. Nice front porch and fire pit area. The house is cute and quaint and well maintained. The host was very responsive. Perfect getaway from the city.
Darling cabin a stone’s throw away from Shenandoah!
We adored our stay in this adorable cabin. It was a perfect getaway from the city, nestled in the heart of the Blue Ridge and minutes away from Shenandoah. This cabin couldn’t have worked better for my small family, with all the amenities of a proper cabin experience. Highly recommend!
