Excellent rental for the price! It's right on the lake with gorgeous views and is right next to Taughannock. The house has everything you need -- extra towels, laundry, games, kitchen, fans, etc. It was a wonderful stay!

Great location but no frills. Did not even have wine glasses in the heart of wine country. Also, no Wifi is cheap and outdated. People need Wifi.

The view was absolutely breathtaking. The kids loved swimming in the lake, it was really nice having access to the lake. *Be prepared for a steep walk down stairs to the lake. We also used the state park parking pass one day, which was very convenient to have! We were there during an unusual heat wave -over the 4th of July, and it was insanely hot (high 90’s!). There was only one AC unit in the bedroom with one bed, and it broke! It woke us in the middle of the night, dipping water and blowing hot air. The cottage is small, and it would be easy to cool with a mini split AC unit (it would be great if they added that!). I will say, they had 3 box fans that really helped. Our other recommendation would be to fix the dock. It’s so nice having lake access but the dock was completely destroyed/ non existent- but still there and pretty dangerous (rusted metal poles and broken wooden planks). Easy checking in and checking out - with an early check in provided. Overall, we had a lovely stay and would definitely come back.

The house only has one window unit aircondioner that seems to leak water. The porch was dirty with many spider webs. The water pressure is very low. The bathroom is very small , if you are a large person I would not recommend this house. The view was awesome. The location is awesome, very close to the fair grounds. Check in and out was super easy. Price is a little high for what you get.
