We were shocked to see the preperty upon our arrival as the outdoor of the property was nothing less than a jungle. The grass was not trimmed for months and the BBQ and other outdoor furniture was not appealing at all. The property inside was pretty neat and clean. But bathrooms were not proper. One of the cupboard in the master bedroom is converted into a tiny bathrom with glass doors (no privacey). The other bathroom was under the stairs without a sink. The two bedrooms were upstairs build under the attic. The property advertised as sleep 10 but that is only suitabe if only one same large family is booking. The owner was very accommodating and arranged a one-cup coffee maker and arranged a charcole BBQ on our request.

We booked this cottage for a family 70th birthday. Luckily, we spent days on the water, as the house had major functional and safety issues. None of the bathroom doors close or lock. They are standard doors poorly converted into barn doors with broken lock mechanisms; the flawed design means they never would have worked anyway. A small bathroom under the stairs constantly smelled like sewage. The owner blamed the electric toilet, but the smell persisted and seeped through the large door gaps. All toilets are overcomplicated electric bidets with no instructions, and all were partially broken. The front stairs are slippery sloped plastic, and the pathway is unsafe, making us nervous our elderly in-laws would fall. The property is overgrown, despite a sign for the owner's landscaping company on the garage. Upstairs, both bedrooms have mattresses on the floor. In one room, the mattress covers the entire floor under a vaulted ceiling, forcing you to stand on the bed to change. The king bed in the other room was incredibly hard, feeling like two box springs with a hard metal bar up the middle. The upstairs heat is unbearable without the portable ACs, which are extremely loud. One AC exhaust pipe has broken clips and fell out at night, pumping hot air into the room. Kitchen supplies are limited; we had to buy disposable baking sheets. Finally, the house sits on a noisy highway, and active construction next door and across the street starts loudly at 7:00 AM daily. Very unfortunate.
