Sagres: beachfront retreat with pool

Welcome to Sagres, a five-bedroom, architect-designed beachfront retreat on Nuns Beach in Queenscliff, sleeping up to 10 guests across three light-filled levels. Designed by Wayne Gillespie and renovated in 2022, the home combines sweeping Port Phillip Bay views, private native gardens and direct access via its own walking track to Nuns Beach (patrolled during summer).

WELLNESS AT SAGRES
Create your own private reset with:
• a white-tiled mineral pool heated to approximately 28°C from October to April, with daybeds in a sheltered native garden
• a European cedar sauna seating up to six
• an outdoor bath and dual outdoor shower
• a heated-floor wellness studio with space for yoga, stretching and movement, plus free weights and functional training equipment
• private yoga sessions and in-house massage treatments available by advance arrangement, subject to practitioner availability and an additional charge

THE HOME
Two king bedrooms with private ensuites occupy the top floor; the ground floor has three queen bedrooms, a second living area and laundry. The middle level brings everyone together with a chef’s kitchen, open-plan living and dining, balconies, SONOS sound, Thermomix, La Marzocco coffee machine, BBQ and Gozney pizza oven. Custom French linen, Turkish towels and Australian-made Leif bath products are provided.

Spend the morning walking directly onto Nuns Beach, relax by the pool, sauna or studio, then watch ships and sunsets move across Port Phillip Bay. Queenscliff village’s cafés, galleries and pubs are an easy walk away, while wineries and coastal trails across the Bellarine Peninsula are within reach.

Guests enjoy exclusive use of the entire home, gardens, pool, sauna and wellness studio. The mineral pool is heated from October to April; private yoga and massage require advance booking and incur an additional fee.
