Peaceful Waterfront Cottage with Sand Beach

Peaceful, serene, scenic cottage at Burridge Lake, waterfront living with a sandy beach. Wake up and have a coffee in the trees from the large balcony. Chill out and relax down on the lower deck and enjoy spectacular views of the lake. Go for a swim, enjoying our sandy beach with its gentle ease into the water. After that, go back up top and have a barbecue with the grill. Inside we have a breakfast bar counter top, plenty of places to relax inside and out. 10 minutes to Westport and a few minutes to nearby Summer camps, 40 minutes to Kingston.


House Rules:
- No Smoking.
- No Pets.
- Bunkie is off-limits.
- Outhouse is off-limits.
- Trailer is off-limits.
- Do not drink the tap water, it is lake-fed. Bottled Water will be provided.
- Be aware of the slope to the shore.
- Bring life jackets and personal flotation devices - they are not provided.
- DO NOT DIVE OFF THE DOCK (IT IS TOO SHALLOW).
- No onsite laundry.
- Firepit and burning is prohibited. Do not do it. There is a fire ban on.
- Try to tidy any messes made or keep it generally clean.
- Do not damage or break the property.
- Do not alter TV or satellite settings.
- No internet unfortunately.
- Pedal Boat is included.
- Kayak is included. Bring a paddle.
- Boat by shore is not included.
- Feel free to moar any boat you bring to the dock if wanted. Public launch is on the other side of the lake.

So you also get a full kitchen, the kitchen space has a fridge, freezer, stove, sink, oven, and microwave, it also has a coffee maker. In the kitchen are four barstools at the bar counter area, ample room for eating. Outside there is a large outdoor patio set and table, outdoor couches along the balcony. Outside there is a barbecue grill, it heats up pretty fast, but it's very good. There is ample seating around the property, a swing, picnic bench, adirondack chairs, and then adjustable patio chairs on the lower deck.

The waterfront is sandy beach, with a gentle grade down into deeper water. Perfect if you want to just play around in the water and not go too deep. Deeper water is beyond your ability to touch and that is available too. It has Southern exposure, so it faces the South, meaning it gets good sunlight coverage for almost all of the day. Included is a pedal boat if you wish to explore or for a relaxing ride. The swimming conditions are fairly neutral (no currents in our area). Do not dive off the dock, it is too shallow at the end. Deep enough to moar some boats, but not very large marine craft.

There is ample parking on site, directly in front of the cottage, a very easy driveway. You can also park on the lower level. The property is split by the road, so be aware of that. Be aware of the slope down, it is terraced hill with one directing out to the road itself. There is a large privacy fence adding more comfort. The bunkie is off limits, and sectioned off with railing. The trailer is off limits as well, in addition to the outhouse. Do not use the firepit as there is currently a widespread burn ban on for the Province. The water system is lake-fed, so do not drink it - we will provided a case of drinking water (not dasani).

There are 4 beds in the space, it's very comfy. The master bedroom has a Queen sized bed. The 2nd Bedroom has two twin beds. The living room has a soda bed inside the sectional sofa. So ample sleeping space as well. Subtle night lights are around the house and plugged in that make night ambiance even better. Sometimes you can catch the moon crest up in the sky and it is viewable through the large window. It's magnificent. There are chairs in the living room in addition to the barstools from the kitchen. The living room and kitchen are open concept so you can hang out in both areas simultaneously. There is an electric fireplace and baseboard heaters in the bedrooms for additional heating. The bathroom setup includes a shower, toilet, and vanity. The Night sky viewing unencumbered by city lights. Overall this is a comfy cottage on Burridge Lake, that will be the perfect spot for you to unwind in nature by the lake.
