Very secluded and private but only 10 minutes to the vibrant Village of Haliburton where you can enjoy cute shops, lovely restaurants and all the perks and amenities of being close to town. 20 minutes to Sir Sam's Ski resort, Winterdance dog sledding and the Wolf Sanctuary. Close to Haliburton Forest, snowmobile trails, snowshoe and cross country ski trails. Great hiking, biking, swimming, kyaking, boating and fishing. Santa's Village is 1 hour away. Or just kick back and enjoy the beauty of the property and amazing views from the dock, the outdoor fire pit or the cozy nook. Enjoy a relaxing soak in the outdoor hot tub as you take in the scenery. Play some pool or boardgames in the games room and watch your favorite movie on the big screen tv.

We visited this stunning cottage in the winter for Family Day weekend. We could not have been happier. The views of the icy lake are incredible — lots of deer wandering over the ice and through the trees. Snowshoes are available for hikes across the ice. The amenities in the cottage are of good quality and up to date. The furnishings are cozy and stylish. The owner has meticulously posted notes throughout, so there is no confusion over how to work everything. The water fireplace, hot tub and pool table were huge hits. Lastly, the owner is extremely accommodating and helpful.
