Swim in the clear, refreshing lake, lounge in the sun, or explore the shoreline at your own pace. Known for its calm waters and excellent fishing, Cranberry Lake offers the perfect balance of relaxation and adventure, whether you`re casting a line or simply drifting under the summer sun.
Back at the cottage, the outdoor space is where this property truly shines. Start your mornings on the spacious deck with coffee in hand, surrounded by nothing but trees and the sounds of nature. As the day winds down, step into the cedar hot tub and take in the peaceful views of the lake and forest, a guest favourite and the perfect way to end a day outdoors.
Evenings are made for gathering around the firepit under a sky full of stars. With no city lights nearby, the stargazing here is incredible, creating the kind of atmosphere that turns simple moments into lasting memories.
Inside, the cottage offers a warm and comfortable space designed for easy living. The open layout is ideal for spending time together, while still offering enough room for everyone to relax. With three well-appointed bedrooms and two full bathrooms, the cottage comfortably accommodates up to six guests, making it perfect for families or couples travelling together.

Summer dates are limited. Secure your stay and experience the beauty of Cranberry Lake.
Please note: July and August bookings require a 7-night stay, Sunday to Sunday. The lake isn`t super deep at the end of the dock so please don`t dive.

We had a great time! The cottage was very lovely, cozy, had lots of small touches that made it comfortable. The hot tub was great! The firestove was lovely. The kitchen was well stocked. Communication and check in/out was easy. Would recommend!
Had a wonderful relaxing weekend here! The gorgeous cottage and big property was amazing. Although it was a rainy time and the lake is still frozen, we still enjoyed our stay with the hot tub and board games/puzzles. Can’t wait to book again during the summertime!
beautiful property on the water with something for everyone!! fishing was great in the canoe provided, dock was great for tanning, and two fire pits was an awesome bonus! Also the hot tub was the best thing ever with a lake view. Even plenty of video and board games for a rainy day. Would definitely come back to this place. Communication was great with the host as well.
This was the perfect spot for us friends to getaway and relax. We used the hot tub daily, got cozy by the fireplace inside, discovered new music on the record player, and played a variety of nostalgic and new games. The cabin was stacked with everything we needed and also a short drive into town where we rented show shoes and got to enjoy such a beautiful weekend. We can't wait to go back in the summer!
The cottage is warm and welcoming. It is a true cottage, stylishly furnished with family friendly furniture and vintage touches. The living spaces have a "kick back and relax" vibe that makes you feel at home. The woodstove does a great job of heating the main living area. Light fills the cottage from large windows.. we loved our stay.
Nice cottage with very large principle rooms and bedrooms. Two living room areas. Nice big deck. Two outdoor fire pits plus wood burning stove in the upper living room. Great access to water not like other cottages we've rented where it can be a steep hike down to the water. And the cedar hot tub is out of this world!
Very traditional old-time cottage which made it perfect for us because it’s the type of cottage we love and remember as kids. Very clean and comfortable inside, the host was super at getting back to me, the hot tub was perfect for cold September mornings and nights. The main floor was perfect for my mother with limited mobility. Her bedroom, the bathroom, kitchen and living room were all there. Access to the outside deck was off the living room. The only difficulty she had was getting down to the lake because there is uneven ground and a slope, but for most people it’s not a problem at all. All in all we had a great three days enjoying the lake, fires, and the sites and restaurants of nearby Haliburton!
