Huckleberry house is beautifully presented, with luxurious details to make for a blissful escape. Enjoy the view over a long lunch on the verandah, snuggle up with a book by the fire, have a change of scenery while you work from the country, or put your feet up after a hike in the mountains.



With 4 bedrooms, 2 living spaces and a study, retreat to Huckleberry house with your family or friends. We know how important it is to put your head down on crisp luxe linen at the end of a long day, to sink into a deep comfortable sofa, and to cook with high quality cookware and knives.



Tucked away in a quiet cul de sac on the edge of town, from the moment you wander down the gardenia-lined path you’ll feel at home.



Downstairs you’ll find an open living, dining, kitchen space which opens onto a wide verandah, with uninterrupted views across the plains to the hills beyond. A second living space downstairs is a good spot for movies on a 55” TV.



Also downstairs is a study retreat for some quiet work or play, a Queen bedroom and a bathroom with a bath.



Upstairs, under the vaulted ceiling, you’ll find a twin room with 2 single beds, a Queen room, separate bathroom with shower, and a King master bedroom with ensuite and walk-in-robe.



Sitting on a quarter acre of land, there’s plenty of garden to explore, enough room for backyard cricket or a barbeque dinner while the sun sets.

Idyllic

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Huckleberry House. It is the quintessential country cottage in a beautiful setting. The property was very clean and the decor was warm and inviting. The gardens are gorgeous. We had three generations staying and the layout of the bedrooms and the number of bathrooms was perfect. The separate room for the TV was also a bonus. I would definitely recommend it as a place to stay.

Home away from home

We stayed here for a concert and the house was exactly what we needed. Walking distance to shops and restaurants and the concert. Fitted out with everything we needed, it was clean, tidy and beautiful. Sitting on the veranda looking out on the gorgeous view with a wine or a cup of tea was a highlight. Thank you for having us.

Family Break in Berry

We all loved the light airy property. The cleanliness was fantastic and the bathrooms were just a delight. The children and the dog loved the garden especially the nearby chickens that they watched for hours. The house is a short walk from the town of Berry and we had a wonderful visit.....my very hard to please son is still raving about it so we know it was a brilliant family holiday choice
