Disliked: Cleanliness, check-in, location, listing accuracy
My family and I drove from Ny to Florida . We arrived very early ,9am , check in is at 4pm. We knew we would have to wait if the house wasn’t ready and we were fine with that. We did call at 10 am and we asked if we can go in early . They said no one cleaned the house yet and they would call when it was ready. At 12/30-1 pm we called back and same thing - no one cleaned yet. We at that point sat there from 2-4pm and no one was in or out of that house but we waited til 4 to enter . ( a call either way wouldn’t been appreciated) Upon arrival, we walked in to a used bandaid on the floor in the kids room and a roach. Turns out we killed at least 4-5 roaches per day. (I’m hoping none are in my bags .) We were very excited about the grill but the grill in the picture and what it is now are night and day. The grill now is rusted and looks in no shape to be used ,on the side of the house -not even near the pool. The pool itself was dirty on the bottom and gnats all floating on the top. We tried skimming it but it did nothing . If you are looking for a working dishwasher , do not stay here . We loaded up the dishwasher one night to find out it doesn’t even close , more or less work. We hand cleaned everything everytime. Last but not least, we tried to lock the door one night to leave and the code was expired. We had to waste an hour of our time on the phone getting a new code to lock the door so we could leave. It expires every 30 days so be careful. I wish I knew all this prior
