Being in Midtown, it sits between the East End and Strand Historic District and the newer West End developments, offering a more local, less tourist-heavy environment while remaining close to island amenities, restaurants, and shopping. This home sits roughly 1 mile from The Seawall with beach access points, fishing piers, and waterfront dining.



Getting Around:

The neighborhood is considered mostly walkable and bikeable. It is centrally located on the island, providing quick access via golf cart or a short drive to major attractions like the Seawall, Downtown/The Strand, and the Cruise Terminal.

We want your stay to be as easy as you do, and the 979 Crew aims to deliver on that commitment. We love our island guests!



WIFI/TV SERVICE:

Our properties include WIFI/Internet and TV service for your streaming services. Due to our location (Island living is a whole other way of life), service may be unpredictable or spotty, and repair times can be delayed. While we will do everything we can to ensure these items are in good working order before your arrival, please note, these services may not be as consistent as they are in your area. So grab your favorite people, ditch the electronics, and spend the day at our beautiful beaches!



979 VACATION PROPERTY SERVICES:

All 979 rental home follow local and state tax rules. Reservations may be booked up to 365 days in advance. Please send inquiry and details if more than a year out as rates and availability may not be updated. Each reservation includes applicable taxes, a cleaning fee, $1M liability protection and $10K damage insurance - and good news, No Security Deposit Required!



CANCELLATION POLICY:

When booking direct with 979, you may cancel within 24 hours of booking and receive a full refund. Some exceptions may apply for last-minute reservations. After 24 hours, cancel at least 30 days before your check-in and receive a refund in your original form of payment less a $50 cancellation fee. Cancellations within 30 days of check-in are non-refundable.



Reservations made on 3rd party channels/OTAs such as Airbnb, VRBO, Booking, Hopper etc may be subject to terms and conditions which may be different than 979's. When booking through a 3rd party channel, the cancellation policy you agreed to at the time of booking is the cancellation policy on your reservation.
