Left feeling rested

If you were looking for a quiet place to slow down and breathe for a minute, the Hereford Hideaway is just that. It was so relaxing from the moment we got there. Peaceful surroundings, cozy space, and just enough of that “ away from everything” feeling without being inconvenient.

Get away and recharge

Stayed at the Hereford Hideaway recently, and it was exactly what we needed. Quite comfortable and an easy place to unwind for a couple of days. Everything was clean and well kept and the set up made it simple to just settle in and relax. Nice spot to sit outside drink some coffee and enjoy a little peace and quiet without any distractions.

This rental was awesome. The owners have got to by far the best ones I have ever had to deal with. Very prompt to respond and went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. Their son chatted with us for awhile so we could get the history of the house and the property and the amount of land and cattle that is there is so impressive. It was a very unique experience and we look forward to returning very soon. Unfortunately our stay was cut short for other reasons so we will definitely be returning. Oh, and they left us a loaf of homemade cinnamon bread which my husband raved about for days. Things to keep in mind when staying is that not all the bedrooms have air. The owners made sure we were comfortable though, so it was not an issue at all.

A Hidden Gem in Iuka

We had an amazing stay at Hereford Hideaway! One of our favorite parts was watching the cows, llamas, and donkeys while enjoying the beautiful views of the pastures and cool evening breezes. It felt peaceful and secluded, yet it was close enough to town for anything we needed. The house was spotless, spacious, and ready to go when we arrived, while still feeling warm and cozy. The homemade sourdough cinnamon bread was incredible and didn’t even last a full day! We also loved listening to the rain on the tin roof during our last day. During our stay, we explored nearby small towns and visited both Tishomingo State Park and JP Coleman State Park. It was the perfect getaway, and we can’t wait to come back.
