Communication was the big issue. Because I don't get email on my phone, I finally got through to the person at VRBO who sent me the information I needed to find the entrance and the code to unlock the door. The place is in a lovely, very quiet neighborhood, and it is small but has everything you might need. It was pristinely clean, and the binder had most of the information I needed. (It did say to take the trash out, but did not say where the bins were.) I never had any contact with the host, which was fine. Refrigerator and AC were great but noisy. I am a light sleeper, but earplugs solved that. I was there for a week, and enjoyed the peace.

The place is tiny and not well-planned like an RV of equivalent area would be. There's no bath sink, and the shower sprays at the shower door (which leaks on the floor) and sprays cold water on whoever turns the shower on unless you happen to know which valve position switches to the hand shower. The shower head sprays on the ceiling whenever it's moved. The kitchen cabinetry takes up a huge amount of space. There's no table to eat on and no chair. There's no reason to stay here instead of a hotel/motel. Tax was charged twice, once by itself and once with owner charges. It's a garage with 2 tiny windows, not a free-standing unit, as "no shared walls" would suggest. The longest wall is shared with a two-car garage.
