Our suite is located in a wonderful heritage house in the Fairfield neighbourhood. Suite is steps from the ocean, coastal walks and bike lanes.with Suite is fully furnished with all the amenities (washer/dryer, 2 full bathrooms and bedrooms) and well equipped kitchen (fridge/stove/dishwasher).

The suite has polished concrete floors and is spacious with a total of 993 sq. ft and a ceiling height of 7'9" (see floor plan in photos).

Our property is close to downtown Victoria (25 minute walk/10 minute drive), coastal walking and bike routes. and wonderful neighbourhood filled with heritage homes and lovely tree-lined streets.

We are located on a neighbourhood street, with shopping plaza (Fairfield Plaza) only a 5 minute walk away with grocery, liquor and other stores available.

We are a well-travelled couple in our 60s that are putting up our suite for VRBO short term rentals (1 to 3 months). We will consider longer term rentals beyond 3 months on a case by case basis.

Why they chose this property

We have been living in this neighbourhood for over 25 years and raised our family during that period. It was a wonderful heritage neighbourhood to raise both of our children and love it so much that wanted to remain. This neighbourhood offers wonderful recreation and opportunities to enjoy nature and coast environment from our doorstep. There is a great coastal walks along Dallas Rd. with a continuous view of the Olympic mountains. A wonderful bay (10 min walk) - Gonzales Bay - to suntan in the summer or enjoy a picnic on the beach. It offers a wide array of sports distractions from playing tennis on our local courts to watching youth baseball or soccer depending on the season. It will not disappoint no matter what type of vacation you would like to enjoy,

What makes this property unique

The location of this property is uniquely positioned by the ocean (Strait of Juan de Fuca) along with its proximity to other recreational pursuits such as cycling on our network of bicycle trails just outside our door, residential walks and a hill climb up up to Gonzales observatory for views of the Olympic Mountains in Washington State. The suite is large and spacious and comfortable with all of the amenities required for an extended stay.
