This is the second season that the main building has been open for vacation rentals. Also on the first floor is a dining room, a den, and an en-suite bedroom [a newly renovated bathroom], complete with it's own ocean facing sitting room. The kitchen [with a butler's pantry] has brand new appliances. French doors open to a wide deck with a sizeable outside dining area.
Upstairs there are 8 bedrooms and 4 full bathrooms.
Included in those is an en-suite king bedroom and an office/ sitting room.
The expansive lawns extend to the edge of the bluff, [where there is a private firepit behind the hedged in gate] and lead to the stairway that take you directly down to the beach.
There are 3-4 off street parking spaces.
The house and grounds are close to the village of Sconset, a short walk or bike ride away. This enchanting hamlet is host to rose-covered cottages, a local market and ice cream shop, restaurants, a children's playground and an island shuttle bus to town.
The Wade cottages include an additional smaller home on offer to rent. Both houses together and the expansive grounds can provide a lovely backdrop for group gatherings and special occasions.
