Absolutely beautiful property — the perfect place for our family of six for a wedding weekend in Carmel. Incredible location. Then golf simulator was a big hit! Thank you for taking good care of us.

The house was just as described - beautifully furnished, very modern, and comfortable. The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. The golf simulator was a special bonus that adults and children all enjoyed. We enjoyed it so much we immediately booked it again for next year!

The perfect location and a wonderful house. Located in the middle of the shopping, but still has a view of the ocean looking out from the spacious deck.

What a wonderful experience. We rented the whole home for my mom's birthday and it was absolutely perfect. The house was clean, beautiful, spacious and fun. We also enjoyed dinner at the Pocket which was served on our patio. Would recommend this wonderful home to anyone looking for a great place to stay in downtown Carmel.

The Pocket was perfect for our large family. It was a perfect location, a block to Ocean Ave and close to the beach. We could walk to everything. The kids loved the Golf Simulator. Our host, Jane, was fantastic. Great place!

Our family had a great experience at the property. The location was amazing and the property itself was clean and well appointed. We were celebrating my mom’s 70th birthday with family and everyone had plenty of space and privacy with a number of beautiful indoor and outdoor gathering spaces as well. The property’s management team had great communication which was greatly appreciated. We would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it for those visiting Carmel by the Sea.

It's very well located in downtown Carmel, with most things within a 5-10 min range. Check in, parking, and all communication in general with the host was easy. The check out process is also a breath of fresh air as too many VRBOs make you do the cleaning, take the trash out, etc.

An amazing house and fabulous location

We really enjoy the stay. The location is perfect. It is close to everything so once we are here, we don’t have to drive to go to dinner or to the beach. The house has everything. And the game room is perfect for adults and kids alike.

Great location and very nice place!

The location is perfect to walk into town. The private table on the patio that could be used for service from the restaurant was a really cool feature. The house was very clean and great size! I would definitely stay here again.

Amazing property. It was gorgeous exactly as pictured. Perfect place for a family gathering. We had 20 people over for meals and it was very spacious. The basement game room was perfect to keep people entertained. And the Ocean View deck provided space for everyone to relax.

We took both units for 8 family members and our stay was incredibly comfortable. Great kitchens and sitting area, very well stocked. Quite luxurious. The units had lovely views and deck with fireplaces for evening conversation. Absolutely fantastic stay!! The Pocket Restaurant is terrific as well.

Amazing place with amazing people

The space is breathtaking and in a perfect location. Having the pocket restaurant next door was even better. They were so helpful and came in great use as we were the for PB pro-am and needed food last minute with the tight schedule. Hope we get invited again to the pro am and we will stay here!

A perfect venue in Carmel-by-the-Sea!

Staying at the "Golden Rectangle" was a truly outstanding experience. To be perfectly candid, the owner of this facility spent a fortune making sure every single amenity was perfect. Everything from the kitchen to the bathrooms to the outdoor fire pits was perfect. Even the golf simulator was probably the very best you can buy, and much better than any Trackman or GCQuad I've used. We'll definitely book it again.
