Are you looking for peace and relaxation surrounded by nature, yet don’t want to give up a touch of luxury? Then Villa Castelletto will delight you!

Thanks to its exceptional location 270 meters above Lake Garda, you will enjoy breathtaking views that truly impress. The villa itself is set on a private estate of 8.5 hectares and is surrounded by ancient olive trees and downy oaks, numerous fruit trees, and citrus plants. Far away from road noise, you can relax and enjoy a very special holiday with family and friends.

The villa accommodates up to 12 adults in 6 bedrooms with 5 bathrooms.
There are 3 floors; all floors are accessible only from the outside.

Main living area:

Modern country-style kitchen with induction cooktop, refrigerator with ice maker, dishwasher, oven, JURA fully automatic coffee machine, and ample tableware for 12 people.
Adjacent to the kitchen is a small pantry with a wine fridge and a second refrigerator.

The swimming pond measures 4 x 8 meters and is completely free of chemicals. A separate regeneration zone with aquatic plants purifies the water, softens it, and supplies it with oxygen. This makes the water especially pleasant for sensitive skin, allowing you to enjoy the refreshing water with all your senses—ideally every day!

The villa’s large garden will delight hobby gardeners and plant lovers alike. From ancient olive trees, native apple and pear trees, and fragrant lavender bushes to exotic banana plants, colorful passion flowers, and wild pomegranate trees—you will find all this and more on the property. Everything is cultivated organically, following traditional methods and without any chemical products. The garden invites you to explore, or simply relax with a good book in one of the many cozy resting spots. Enjoy the indescribable views and refresh yourself in the natural swimming pond.

The villa and the large garden are for your exclusive use. The owners, Hildegard and Norbert, live approximately 200 meters from the villa and are happy to provide tips and information.

IMPORTANT: The access road to the villa (800 m) is steep and unpaved. We recommend a four-wheel-drive vehicle or SUV. Cars with very low ground clearance (such as some sports cars) are not suitable.

Stunning view of Lago di Garda. Very comfortable and spacious rooms for a large family. Hosts were very responsive in a timely fashion to any requests. Glad we had 4 wheel drive - very steep driveway that leads to this private getaway. Locals in nearby village were very friendly.

A perfect escape

This is an idyllic house with incredible views of the lake and mountains. Hildegard and Norbert are attentive and generous hosts. We enjoyed the peaceful gardens and the natural produce of fruit and vegetables, honey and olive oil. The house is immaculate and well equipped. It couldn’t have been better. The drive is very steep but our Ford S-Max rental car made it up and down daily. A wonderful and relaxing holiday.

Nothing Comes Close In Comparison

I've been fortunate enough to be able to enjoy Lake Garda for most of my life. In many ways Lake Garda is the little secret that few Americans know about. Being from the US, Lake Garda is often missed as many travelers hone in places like Rome, Milan, Venice. Their loss, as this is the true Italian Experience. The best way to feel it, is by sipping morning coffee on the porches of this property. Walking through the grounds while the backdrop soaks in. This place is the metaphorical reset button on life. The views are stunning. The cleanliness and hospitality are reminiscent of a 5 star hotel. If you want to *feel* like you are in the mountains of Italy, there is literally no other place that matches this location's breathtaking views. When I was a child, I told my parents I would get married in Lake Garda. I am very fortunate to have had my family and friends stay on this property. I couldn't have had it any other way. We will be back, more likely sooner rather than later. Thank you again to the family for hosting us. You all are wonderful people.

A moment in time

We are a family of 7 who spent 4 nights in the Villa after a 10 day cruise. It was a great place to finish our holiday. It is a beautiful, quiet haven with a stunning view of Lake Garda. There are also some beautiful treks that you can do in the region and lovely villages. The various spaces to relax are the highlight of the place. The natural pool was so refreshing during the heat wave. Enjoying a meal and a glass of wine in the 3 different outdoor seating areas is such a great moment in time. Extraordinary place. Very friendly owners. Yes, you need a 4 wheel drive to go down the steep 600 meter dirt road. There is one major downside though, the natural ventilation is not enough to keep the house cool and confortable. We have to close all the shutters of the house, making us feel stuffy and of course blocking the gorgeous views. And even in doing so, we were too hot and did not sleep well. We understand that with global warming it is an issue everywhere but a proper AC unit is essential when you rent a house of that quality and price. I guess our North American standards are very high concerning the AC in the summer time. The house is built with the most ecological standards which is great really, but in practice, the comfort during hot summer days is highly affected. Nevertheless, we had a fantastic time and we recommend this amazing place. Thank you to Hildegard for her special deliveries of bread and honey and being available.

Ideal für 12 Personen mit Platz und Freiheit für jeden Einzelnen

Ein traumhaftes Objekt, Mit vielen Möglichkeiten. Es gibt nichts was einem nicht gefallen kann. Sehr gut geeignet zum gemeinsamen Kochen, egal ob drinnen oder draußen. Sehr stilvoll eingerichtet und alles ist aufeinander abgestimmt. Räumlich sehr großzügig. Sanitäranlagen perfekt. Das wunderschöne angelegt Gelände mit Schwimmteich, und Saunahäuschen, verschieden Terrassen mit vielen Sitz und Liegemöglichkeiten eröffnen einen wunderschönen Block auf den Gardasee.

Besser geht es einfach nicht.

Sensationelles Haus! Top Lage! Es geht nicht besser! Mehrere Essplätze und alle mit super Aussicht auf den Lago. Und diese Ruhe oberhalb des Trubels am See! Die Familie Hofer kümmert sich um den tollen Garten/das Grundstück und man fühlt sich wohl vom ersten Moment. Wir buchen wieder… und freuen uns auf die nächste Woche!

Traumhaus mit atemberaubendem Ausblick

Wir haben wunderschöne 4 Tage in diesem tollen Anwesen verbringen dürfen. Ein sehr schöner Garten mit vielen schönen Sitzgelegenheiten und einem tollen Panoramablick lassen einen gerne verweilen, um die Seele mal baumeln zu lassen. Die Eigentümer waren sehr nett und bemüht! Auch das Haus selber war sehr gepflegt und war wunderbar gemütlich eingerichtet. Sehr viele Kleinigkeiten haben diesen Urlaub unvergesslich gemacht (Begrüßungspizza, Kuchen, Willkommenskorb, Pflegeprodukte, frische Blumen,…) Den Kindern gefiel besonders der Whirlpool mit dem tollen Ausblick. Vielen Dank für wunderschöne 4 Tage. Wir können dieses Haus sehr weiterempfehlen (an alle die den steilen Hang nicht scheuen)!

Das Haus, der Garten, die Lage und die wahnsinnig freundliche Betreuung durch die Vermieterin haben alle Erwartungen auf Grund des Online Inserates weit übertroffen. Der Zustand des Feriendomizils ist rund um gepflegt und sauber. Das Haus ist wunderschön eingerichtet mit hochwertigen Materialien und bietet ein perfektes Wohnklima. Der Garten mit seinen vielen traumhaften Sitzplätzen, Pflanzen, Olivengarten, Natursee, Sauna und Kräuter- und Gemüsegarten aus dem man sich bedienen kann, sucht seinesgleichen. Die morgendlich frisch gebackenen Brötchen und Überraschungen von Hildegard waren herrlich. Dazu dieser phantastische Ausblick! Alles wurde mit Liebe für´s Detail vorbereitet, man kann sich nicht mehr für einen wunderbaren, erholsamen Urlaub wünschen…Kurz gesagt: Erholung, Entspannung in höchstem Maße, wir werden sicher wieder kommen!

Charmanter Luxus abseits der ausgetretenen Pfade am Gardasee

Die Familie Hofer ist der perfekte Gastgeber! Mit Liebe zum Detail ist das gesamte Anwesen sehr gepflegt und man thront in würdevoller Höhe über dem Gardasee! Wenn man will gibt's am Morgen frisch gebackenes Brot aus dem Holzofen. Wir haben dort wundervolle Tage verbracht und kommen sicher wieder!

Außerordentliche BergVilla mit liebevollen Gastgebern

Unzählige Male verbrachten wir unsere Ferien am Gardasee in den verschiedensten Unterbringungen und in den verschiedensten Preiskategorien. Das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis dieses Angebots übertraf unsere Erwartungen bei Weitem. Zum Einen durch die Gastgeberin, welche zu jeder Zeit versuchte unsere Wünsche unaufdringlich zu erfüllen und damit auch immer ins Schwarze traf, und zum Anderen die Lage des Anwesens, der mit Liebe im Detail gepflegte parkähnliche Garten, die nachbarlose uneinsehbare Villa mit uneingeschränkter Sicht auf den Gardasee und das täglich morgendliche warme frische Brot und Gebäck, sind nur ein Auszug dessen, was nicht unbedingt selbstverständlich ist. Zu guter Letzt stimmte das tolle Wetter sein Bestes noch hinzu, was unseren Aufenthalt zu einem unvergesslichen Urlaub machte. Wir kommen gern wieder!

An Absolutely Fabulous Experience

This is an all around 5-star experience. The house is absolutely luxurious with stunning views from every angle of the home. The house was extremely comfortable, the lay-out of the home and outdoor areas allowed for plenty of communal activities, but also space for quiet relaxation, and the amenities were of the same quality that you'd have in your own home. What I loved most about the home was the clean and solid construction and just the simplicity yet elegance of the decor. We stayed with 3 adults and 3 children (8, 6 and 4 years old). The lay-out was perfect for our group. The rooms were simple and spacious. We had one room for the parents, the other room was for the children and the apartment for the nanny. With a large kitchen stocked with the necessary amenities, we were able to cook wonderful meals that we enjoyed in several different dining areas around the property (front porch, back porch, garden, dining room). The grounds were just beautiful. The house had a man-made pond that the children loved swimming in and exploring. There was a sauna, a hot tub, a reading room and outside lounging areas to enjoy the views. The yard was the perfect combination of natural and landscaped gardens. There were vegetable and herb gardens that allowed us to make salads and add fresh herbs to all our meals that made them that much more enjoyable. And finally, our hosts were so gracious and made us feel so welcome. We had a wonderful welcome package awaiting our arrival. Hildegard brought us fresh homemade bread twice during our stay and a wonderful strudel. There were fresh flower arrangements around the house every morning. The children were always excited to spy on Hildegard, Norbet and Mabrit in the yard in the morning or at their house on our way in and out of the property. The surrounding area was also delightful. We had a lot of fun exploring the nearby towns. The closest town is Castelleto di Brenzone. An easy 10 minute drive from the house and pretty difficult 20-25 minute hike down (to get to town)/up (to get home) the mountain. The two older children made the hike once, but the 4 year old was basically carried back up the mountain. While they were proud of getting to the town and back once, none of the children wanted to do it again. Our favorite restaurant was ristorante da umberto where we enjoyed several lunches and a couple of dinners. Luca the owner was such a treat! We can't wait to visit again!

Der Traum am Gardasee

Vom 17. bis am 20. April 2016 durften wir in einem wahr gewordenen Traum von einem Haus unseren Kurzurlaub geniessen. Besser oder auch liebevoller Umsorgt als von den Gastgebern kann man nicht mehr werden. Nach einer sehr herzlichen Begrüssung und einer interessanten Hausbesichtigung wurden wir mit der wohl leckersten Pizza am Gardasee überhaupt verwöhnt, nicht zu vergessen der selbstgemachte Tee, welcher uns dazu serviert wurde. Abgerundet wurde unsere erste Mahlzeit mit warmen Handtüchern, was wünscht man sich mehr. Die Villa ist an Ingenieurskunst beinahe nicht zu übertreffen, hochwertige Materialien runden das sonst schon perfekte Haus ab. Offene Wünsche hatten wir beim Anblick dieses Anwesens keine mehr. Wie könnte man auch neben einem wunderschön gepflegten Naturpool, einer erholsamen Saune mit Erholungsbereich, verschiedenen einzigartig gelegenen Sitzplätzen und einem Whirlpool. Es liegt wahrscheinlich bereits auf der Hand, dass natürlich das ganze Haus wunderbar sauber und gepflegt war. Auch die Duschutensilien werden einem zur perfekten Zufriedenheit zur Verfügung gestellt (diverse Shampoos, saubere Tücher etc.). Ebenso sieht es mit dem Küchengeschirr aus, das Kochen war mit einer solchen Küche und den dazugehörenden Utensilien eine wahre Freude. Die Villa würden wir sofort und ohne zu Überlegen weiterempfehlen. Liebevollere und aufmerksamere Gastgeber haben wir noch nirgends zuvor angetroffen. Das Haus und auch der Ausblick ist einfach einzigartig und unbeschreiblich, was wünscht man sich also mehr in den Ferien? Wir kommen bestimmt wieder. Liebe Grüsse aus der Schweiz

Top-notch Accommodations; Privacy; AMAZING views

Believe the photos you see -- Villa Castelletto looks every bit like them, and I'd argue it's much better in person. Here are some facts: * There are no neighbors and it is absolutely silent -- just sitting around one feels relaxed * Unobstructed views of the mountains that plunge into Lake Garda * High-end finishes, quality linens/towels, and a kitchen stocked with everything you'd need * Warmest hospitality from the Hofers Things to know (these are not complaints by any means, but they are things you'd want to know :)): * The gravel driveway is steep and has some hairpin turns. When they mention you would want a SUV or AWD vehicle, they're being honest. We had an AWD BMW 4-series and did just fine, but we went slowly to avoid scraping the underside. After a few drives, it becomes super easy, but just be aware of this especially if your car has low ground clearance. And, you need to have a car here -- this is not for people who rely on public transportation. * It's a good 10 minute drive to get to San Zeno (probably the biggest, closest town), and maybe 15 minutes to Brenzone. We found ourselves wanting to eat a large lunch at restaurants during the day, and with the coziness of the villa, it was great to cook in the huge kitchen at night so everybody could relax with wine and not worry about driving the windy roads home. * The Hofers maintain a great herb garden -- thyme, rosemary, oregano, and others -- are right outside the door. * There are essentially two apartments in the villa -- the top floor apartment has a bedroom, bathroom, and small kitchenette. The lower apartment is the main one that has the huge kitchen, 2 en-suite bedrooms, separate bathroom, and living areas. There are separate entrances for each. * Wifi speed is good, but not ultra-fast. There is a nice speaker box that connects via Bluetooth or Aux jack to play music. The peaceful and idyllic location made this a wonderful getaway spot -- I would stay here again without any reservations and would recommend it to anybody.

Ein Paradies auf Erden

Die Fotos sowie die Beschreibung im Internet waren bereits vielversprechend, doch wir hätten uns nie träumen lassen, dieses Paradies auf Erden vorzufinden: Die Villa glänzt mit luxuriösen und großzügigen Räumlichkeiten, die in Sachen Einrichtung und Ausstattung an Perfektion nicht zu übertreffen sind. Ein warmes und liebevoll gestaltetes Ambiente ohne Aufdringlichkeit, das einen Wohlfühlfaktor garantiert. Zudem mangelt es in Sachen Ausstattung an nichts. Von der umfassenden Kücheneinrichtung bis hin zur kleinen Wohnzimmerbibliothek, welche bei Entdeckungstouren in die Umgebung hilft, ist alles vorhanden. Ein Highlight ist auch der Weinkeller, der zu abendlichen Verkostungsproben auf der Panoramaterrasse einlädt. Auch der Garten setzt Maßstäbe. Eine idyllische, enorm weitläufige, uneinsehbare und sehr gepflegte Anlage lädt mit unzähligen lauschigen Plätzchen zum Verweilen ein und bietet stets aufs Neue ein beeindruckendes Panorama auf den Gardasee und das gegenüberliegende Ufer. Ob die Liegeplätze am Schwimmteich, eine Hängematte unter Olivenbäumen, die überdachte und windgeschützte Sitzecke am Whirlpool oder der an die Sauna angeschlossene Ruheraum mit bodentiefem Fenster – ein Platz ist schöner als der andere. Mit dem Auto ist die Villa gut erreichbar, jedoch ist es mit Allradantrieb und etwas Bodenfreiheit leichter den privaten Schotterweg zur Villa zu befahren. Wer gerne läuft, kann den Ortskern von Castelletto di Brenzone gut in 20-30 Minuten zu Fuß auf dem vorbeiführenden, historischen Eselspfad erreichen. Als Restauranttipp können wir wärmstens einen Besuch bei „Da Umberto“ direkt an der Anlegestelle von Castelletto di Brenzone empfehlen. Zu den Gastgebern gibt es zusammenfassend nur Eines zu sagen – überwältigend! Der auf der Homepage beworbene Rundum-Service wird mit einer zuvorkommenden Aufmerksamkeit und unvergleichlichen Herzlichkeit betrieben. Alles war sehr familiär und verbindlich. Selbst bei der Organisation und Umsetzung einer kleinen privaten Feier unter den Weinreben im Garten der Villa erhielten wir ihre unermüdliche Unterstützung. Fazit: Für diejenigen, die ein idyllisches Plätzchen fernab der hektischen Gardesana in gehobenem Ambiente suchen, ist diese einzigartige Villa samt ihren unbeschreiblich tollen Vorzügen ein absoluter Geheimtipp und jeden Euro wert. Der Erholungsfaktor wird vervielfacht. Wer jetzt an dem Wahrheitsgehalt dieser Bewertung zweifelt – es ist wirklich so einmalig. Überzeugt Euch am Besten selbst!
