Loved staying here. This apartment was perfect for a nice weekend. It was a good price and a fantastic location. Near the bay front and near the shopping on Marine Ave. it is very clean, well maintained, and very comfortable. When we come back to Balboa I’d love to stay here again.

Cheryl's property on Balboa Island was wonderful! Nice smooth check in process and excellent communication throughout. I didn't end up using them, but having the beach chairs, towels and umbrella was great. Balboa island is such a great walkable island with lots of great restaurants and picturesque views around the entire bay street on the water. Riding the ferry was cool too, awesome VRBO Experience!

Great one bedroom to relax in the evening after a day on the island or the beach! Walking distance to all the restaurants on the island and the ferry over to Newport! Parking on the street was never an issue! Very clean and full kitchen and utensils available if needed.

Great location and property!!Owner is super helpful and friendly.My only criticism is the “air conditioning” in the unit is a window unit that you can barely feel and upstairs gets hot once temperatures get above 78 degrees and the place gets very little breeze (if any). Fortunately the nights cool off nicely so it wasn’t an issue sleeping.But I had to do some work on this trip so working in the heat was tough.If that issue is addressed I would have given the place a 5

We loved this little cottage in the heart of Balboa Island. Super great hosts and comfortable upstairs apartment. Could not have been in a better location for walking to Marine Ave where all the shops and restaurants are, along with wonderful walks around the island every day. We will definitely stay here again when needing accommodations in this part of Orange County! :)

Overall it was as pretty good. I only needed a one bedroom and not many options on the island. It was a little dated and somethings not great but manageable for a few days. Overall I was satisfied for a few days in the island.
