A wonderful week in paradise

605 unit review

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a wonderful week at Destin - this is our annual family vacation. We utilize 3 of your condos during this week. Unit 605 had a pantry which was wonderful. It however, does not compare well to 705 or 1006 as far as being updated with nice furnishings. The carpet needs to be replaced with tile- it feels unclean. The mattresses in front bedroom were not comfortable at all. The kitchen is well equipped but an air fryer would be a great addition.

Loved this property! A great place to stay with family. The table in the living area was perfect for games every night!! The only two things I’d change, the pillows in the master bedroom are crazy firm! lol so bring your own. And I’d put a key code lock on the door just for convenience. Otherwise this place was perfect! We’d love to come back!

Home away from Home

Our family had a wonderful stay at this property. Despite missing a day due to work, checking in was easy, and the uncrowded beach with an umbrella and two chairs was a nice touch. The place was clean, modern, and had stunning views, striking a balance between being close to Destin's attractions and offering a peaceful atmosphere. We appreciated the special touches, easy parking, and my daughter loved the Easter Egg Dash event. Unlike other beachfront properties we've stayed in, this one didn’t have a musty smell. We enjoyed the spacious accommodation, particularly breakfast on the balcony, and the humidifier was a thoughtful addition.

Awesome view

Condo was great. Awesome view with large balcony to accommodate family. Unit was large enough for everyone and didn’t feel cramped. Only a few minor things to improve, fan in master bathroom is loud, and exhaust fan in guest bathroom not working, just a quick fix I’m sure. Other than that, condo was great and will definitely book our next stay here.

Only negative thing I have to say, condo was mostly clean but in the master the shower is tiled and the grout was mildewed in places. The view was perfect from the room and balcony. Beds were comfortable. Kitchen was well stocked. The pool was so nice; I’ve never stayed anywhere with a kids pool this great! I like that you had to have a code for beach and pool access. Beach service was top notch and our beach seemed to be less crowded. My kids loved the fish in the lobby. Would and plan to stay again!!!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit is beautiful, comfortable, and roomy. Our group of 5 had plenty of seating to eat or lounge in the living area. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook. The extra ice maker was great for filling up the cooler before heading to the beach. We loved having the beach, pool, and grilling area steps away. We will definitely be back!

Granddaughter Fun

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We have been staying at Destin Gulfgate since 2010. I have probably stayed in 9 or 10 different rentals and this is in my top three favorites. With granddaughters one of my favorite things about this condo was the coffee table with four stools - perfect for children to sit at and eat. I did mention a couple of minor things to the front desk at check out for them to look at but they were more than happy to write them down and check them out before the next guests were to check in.
