If you are coming to the beach, stay ON THE BEACH and it doesn’t get any better than Destin Gulfgate 401! This condo is larger than most in Destin with 1432 SQ FT and is decorated in beachy, relaxing colors and feel, with the comforts of home and the extras to make your stay so very relaxing. In addition to the 30' of floor-to-ceiling glass, there three east side windows with their views down the beach which flood the unit with light and engulf you in the coastal atmosphere.

The covered private 30' balcony, opened from both the living room and master bedroom, is like having another room-a great place to enjoy the beach without stepping in the sand or just having a sunrise breakfast, late lunch, or sipping a cool one while watching a sunset. Don't be surprised is a nap just happens while listening to the gentle Gulf waters. Rain or shine, we have you covered!

The living room boasts a 65" smart TV with cable service for the major networks plus the owners provide NetFlix and Amazon Prime movies for your enjoyment when not on the beach. There is setup for XBox should you bring your own plus a BluRay player for the classic movie collection in the unit. The brand-new sofa is a queen sleeper sofa, if needed. There is plenty of seating for everyone.

Step out the Master Bedroom directly onto the balcony to greet the day after a good night's sleep in the King bed. A 40" Smart TV is there, if you want it or tucked behind the armoire doors never to be seen-your choice. 10' mirrored closet provides plenty of storage so your belongings are not underfoot. If you sleep better with an extra fan blowing, then we have you covered: ceiling fans and box fans are located in each room. The ensuite bath has a double granite vanity and a luxurious 6' walk-in shower.

The guest suite boasts privacy and 2 Queen beds. Just close the pocket door from the living area to have your own private bath, with granite vanity and a brand new 6' walk in shower. A small ready library is there for your lazy day around the pool, beach or lounge chair on the balcony.

The family times start with family meals and the condo is set p for family dining when you choose not to fight the crowds. Besides the 6 dining chairs around the the glass top table, there are 4 bar stools for extra seating at the bar. Adjacent to the raised bar is a wet bar, complete with a large ice machine for all those hot days and cool drinks. To make those days complete, there is a Ninja Blender provided for those smoothies!

The open-concept, extra large kitchen is well-equipped for showing off those gourmet skills...or just comfort foods. If you are used to your Keurig, don't worry as there is one provided so bring your favorite flavors cups. Or just use the Mr Coffee. With a window over the sink, a kitchen TV and the open-concept arrangement, the cook won't feel left out of family vibes.

Should need to do a washing mid-week, there is a full-size washer and dryer in the separate laundry room. You will also find a small ice chest to use at the beach.

Speaking of the beach, Destin Gulfgate 401 comes with one free umbrella and two chairs beach service setup waiting for you each day during the season. Immediately you will notice how less crowded it is at Destin Gulfgate with its 465' of private beach for only 66 units. Everyone is front row here. When it is time to come off the beach, there are amenities offered guests, including a negative edge swimming pool with a kiddy area at one end and deeper waters at the other. Lounge chairs and umbrellas will make your day at the pool a day of total relaxation. Should you be so inclined, there is an exercise room over-looking the pool and Gulf waters to make your exercise time pass quickly. You can't beaat the view!!

The deck adjacent to the pool is a perfect place to gather at the end of the day to watch the famous Destin sunsets and enjoy a glass of wine or cool one. Tables and chairs/benches provide places to eat if one night is grilling night using the on-site charcoal grills nearby. Good times can go on and on the whole vacation without even leaving Gulfgate 401.

Before you head to the store to buy kids' beach toys, check the Destin Gulfgate 401 Beach Sharing Closet just outside the front door. Not only are there beach toys, noodles, and shovels other guests have left for you, but there are extra beach chairs if you need any. That sandcastle is just waiting to be built! The family will always remember that one!

Destin Gulfgate 401 is in a perfect location, away from the elevators and high enough to see the beach and glistening waters from almost anywhere in the unit. Not need for a lot of traffic in front of your door...quiet, just the way you like it. It is also located off busy Highway 98 but close enough to restaurants, shopping, water parts, rides and golf courses which are minutes away. Of course the top attraction is Destin's famous Harbor, home to Florida's largest commercial fishing fleet and the packed fun of Harborwalk. Schedule a day of fishing or just watch the boats come in or attend a free concert or fireworks during the season. Destin Gulfgate 401 is located away from the traffic but close enough to everything when you want it. That's the perfect beach front location. The Master Bedroom opens to the balcony with its own 14’ wall of floor-to- ceiling glass. It has a KING bed with pillowtop mattress and a huge mirrored closet. , Adjoining the MBR is a private bathroom with double sink, granite topped vanity and a beautiful 6’ walk in shower. The second bedroom suite hosts
2 QUEEN BEDS and can have a private entrance to the second bath with a tub/shower. Both bedrooms have SMART FLAT SCREEN TV’S and BLUERAY PLAYERS.
The Living/Dining area is 15’ x 29.’ The sofa is a Queen Sleeper Sofa for additional sleeping accommodations. There is a 65” SMART SCREEN TV plus Blu Ray player. The owners provide Netflix and Amazon Prime movies. There is also a music player with which to plays your own music. You can pair your cell phone music app to the entertainment system to provide music through the speakers instead of your tiny cell phone speaker. The unit 401 is TILED THROUGHOUT with 16’ diagonal tiles.

Destin Gulfgate is centrally located, just two miles from Florida’s largest charter boat fishing fleet and Harborwalk Village and seven miles from Silver Sands Designer Factory Stores, one of the Southeast’s largest designer outlets malls. And if you can’t find it there, the Destin Commons and Grand Boulevard will have it. Shopping is certified vacation activity here! The condo is within walking distance to THE TRACK AMUSEMENT PARK AND MINI-GOLF and a half a mile from Big Kahuna Water Slide Amusement Park. Also within 100 yards of the condo down the sidewalk is the BACK PORCH restaurant, the Candy Shop and Ruth Chris Steak House or Merlin’s Pizza. Grocery stores are just a short drive away- Winn Dixie, Target, WalMart, and the new and beautiful Publix. And if golf is your thing, there are 15 golf courses in the area to drive to. So you see, Destin Gulfgate is centrally located so you don’t have to be stuck in the traffic.

Condo rules—No pets; No smoking; Parent is required to be an occupant if the party includes singles under age of 25.

This vacation unit is normally available for rent to non-smoking families (no unaccompanied singles under 25) for WEEKLY rentals during prime season. Occasional stays less than a week are available in the off season or last minute-check with us to be sure our housekeeper (who is VERY good) can accommodate.
