This newly built country house is located in a completely quiet rural location just 3 KM away from the charming harbor town of Porto Petro with nice restaurants with harbor views, cafes and some shops. 10 minutes away by car is the nature reserve Mondrago with its beautiful sandy coves that invite you to swim and various long walks. The bustling tourist resort of Cala D'Or with various sandy beach bays, a sheer inexhaustible selection of restaurants and the marina is 5 minutes away by car. In Cala D'Or there is the opportunity for various water sports or a glass bottom boat excursion to discover the beautiful southeast coast of Majorca. Golfers can indulge in their hobby at the Vall D'Or Golf Course, which is just a 15-minute drive away.

The house

Verdal is a beautiful newly built in a rustic style country house with about 200 m2 living space. The two-storey house has spacious bedrooms with plenty of natural light and exterior walls covered with natural stones. From the large hall you have access to the open living and dining area with glass doors that lead directly to the terrace and the pool. The spacious kitchen is very well equipped and has a breakfast table and a service room, where the washing machine is located. On this level is the master bedroom with a beautiful wooden double bed and en suite shower room and access to the terrace and pool. On the upper floor are three bedrooms, all with their own private balcony terrace and fantastic views of the countryside and in the distance the sea. One bedroom has a double bed and a large corner bathroom en suite. The other two bedrooms have single beds and share a separate bathroom.

The three bedrooms on the upper floor have air conditioning cold / warm with a fixed operating time of 14:00 h - 16:00 h and 20:00 h - 07:00 h.

Important NOTE:

Electricity and hot water are generated by solar panels and generator, which is about 100 meters from the house. If you are outside with the generator on (max 2 hours daily), you may experience these sounds.

The outdoor area

The house was built on a rural plot of about 8000 m2 with open views of the surrounding fields with carob trees, wild olive trees and sea view. At the back of the house is the sun terrace and pool. A brick barbecue with a dining table is the perfect place to enjoy al fresco dining with fabulous views. The large pool (10.5 mx 5 m, depth at least 1.25 m, max 1.80) with brick steps is the ideal place to relax on the long hot summer days. The entire property is fenced with traditional natural stone walls and has a lockable access gate.
