Summary:

Sunset Lodge is a newly renovated home that provides true modern-day lodging. This gorgeous home sleeps eight people comfortably in 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The fully furnished kitchen is perfect for your favorite meals. Enjoy the game room and movie room as well! Beautiful mountain/wildlife views can be seen from the nine-glass panel converted garage door (fully functional) on the main level. After a day of hiking in the national park, soak in the private hot tub on the large outdoor deck.



The Space:

3 bedroom, 2.5 bathroom newly renovated home in Estes Park, CO. Located conveniently near Rocky Mountain National Park and the historic Stanley Hotel. Enjoy long soaks in the hot tub after a day of hiking. Spend a day shopping the local hot spots and eating at local favorites.

Awesome stay!! I actually think the listing might undersell the property a bit. Would highly recommend and will be coming back if in the area again. Views were incredible and the house had everything needed. Saw tons of wildlife every day. Great!!

We have been vacationing in Estes Park for decades and this was our favorite home so far. The views were the best—it made it hard to leave for a day exploring as the patio and hot tub were so relaxing. The home was lovely and very clean—it had everything we needed to cook or just relax. The home was well stocked for kids/grandkids. Thank you for sharing this home with us.

Couldn't Have Loved It More!

This house was better than we'd imagined! Plenty of really great and thoughtful space to hang out and have fun on super cold wintry days. Bonus: we say deer walking straight up to the house and around the property most every day! Loved it, and hope to stay there again!

Great House for our family vacation

Very clean, well located property. My family of 6 loved this house. Spectacular views of the mountains. We had Elk in our yard one day and Turkeys the next. House was great and the management company was very responsive.

Excellent spot for a group or family

The property was fantastic. Beautiful views, tucked away on the side of a hill. Spacious home that accommodated well for a family. The kids loved the game room and theater room. The hot tub was very relaxing and you can’t beat the view. Great way to start and end the day. The house was super clean and comfortable. Very well decorated. Overall, we absolutely loved the stay.

Wonderful Stay

The house was great! Beautifully modern and clean on the inside, with plenty of games for the kids to play, plus they loved the big scrabble board. The views are breathtaking and sitting on the deck looking at the mountain views from the house never got old. I would certainly stay here again and will recommend it to my friends and family, we had a wonderful time.

Beautiful place to stay

Great house Great location 2nd time staying here Changes made since last visit that enhanced our stay and made things better - No more fire pit - now has a wonderful gas powered outdoor fire area on the deck! - Has oven mits and adequate towels and wash clothes for the kitchen (these were non existent at the last visit) - major improvement - thank you! Overall a wonderful stay. We will be back.

Beautiful views!

The house was amazing with excellent views and we even saw a mommy and baby elk in the yard the last night! So much room and so relaxing! Only thing that was negative was the white curtains don't block out enough light if you want to sleep in.

Best VRBO Ever!!

This was the absolute best property I have stayed at using VRBO. Everything was immaculate. The view from the deck was phenomenal. The decor was so welcoming and cozy. I loved all the signage on the light switches so I knew what I was turning on and off. I would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back in the future.

Management was responsive, house was very well equipped and super clean. The kids all had a blast in the game room. Last, but certainly not least, there are no words to describe that view! We started planning our return visit the first night!

Amazing home!

Our family recently stayed at this home for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. We wish we could have stayed longer! Our kids are 18, 16, and 12, and the bedroom configuration was perfect for us. The house and the views are even more beautiful than the images in the listing. This home is spacious and offers privacy while still being close to town and all the things we wanted to see in the area. The deck and views are beautiful and we had lots of fun in the game room! Thank you!

Beautiful NEW Cabin with VIEWS

We had a wonderful, quick 3 night stay. Location is great, just out of “town” but a quick drive to all Estes Park has to offer. We enjoyed the hot tub, views and privacy. Be sure to hike or drive up the road a bit to get an amazing view of Lake Estes and town. All amenities were as described. So many TVs throughout but would prefer to have one available on the main floor in the great room. We were there during March Madness so wanted to keep up on the games. Thanks for sharing such a great stay. We enjoyed ourselves and hope to return again some day!

Wonderful private location! Super hot tub!

We were all 7 happy with our stay. The accommodations were perfect for our two families. Our adult kiddos loved the game and movie rooms. Hot tub was lovely, but it’s the views that make this space extra special. The queen room doesn’t have any curtains, so our guests in there were kept awake by the light from the master bath and of course couldn’t sleep in. Other than that, this place is hard to beat for a winter wonderland getaway! First night we had big buck come down the back rocks. First morning we had at least 100 turkeys in the yard. Neat!

Sunset Lodge

Lovely! The views and location alone make staying here worthwhile. But, the interior of the house is the icing on the cake! Spacious, clean, well equipped and so comfortable! Coffee on the deck, watching the wild turkeys run by, breakfast with my family at the big kitchen Island. Evenings by the fire pit and in the hot tub enjoying the magnificent views! We are traveling with our soon to be high school senior and spending time and making memories with him is our priority. This house and these mountains exceeded our expectations. Our only regret is that we didn’t stay long enough.

Solitude with a View

What a fantastic property! To start the property management went out of their way to secure a package that delivered early. Once arriving we were mesmerized by the home and location. The home was the perfect size and layout for our entire stay with the 6 of us. The games and wall scrabble in the finished basement were a great treat after long days in Estes and Rocky Mountain National Park. Much less the hot tub looking at the Billion Dollar View were great to soak the muscles after many miles of hiking! The icing on the cake was the Elk that decided the backyard would be a great place to take a few hour nap. Thank you. Thank you, Thank you!!

Beautiful retreat!

Our stay at this property was wonderful! The house was perfect for our group, was well-appointed with everything we needed, and was beautiful, well kept, and clean. The layout was light and inviting and the spacious kitchen worked great for our group . The kids (all ages) loved the hangout space downstairs and the adults enjoyed relaxing on the deck with beautiful views. The owners thought of everything we could need to make the most of our stay. During our stay, we had some very minor issues (wifi trouble, a door that wouldn't lock, and a light issue), and the property manager was quick to respond and incredibly helpful in resolving those issues promptly, professionally, and kindly the same day & with no disruption in our vacation at all. I would highly recommend this property to others. We really enjoyed this property and hope we can return soon!
