The uniquely crafted cottage is situated within private tranquil tropical gardens, shaded by 200 yr. old oak trees and Japanese bamboo. The perfect retreat for a single or a couple to escape, relax and recharge in a CLEAN, STERILIZED and SAFE environment.

"If you seek a unique, relaxing, SAFE and CLEAN place to stay, Bayshore Gardens Cottage is just that. Sit back and relax within beautiful tropical gardens.
The fully renovated one of a kind quality craftsmanship 800 sq. ft. cottage is an open space design with a sleeping/sitting area that is rustic yet modern. Featuring high ceilings & whitewash beams, Italian terracotta tile throughout and tall bay windows provide spectacular views of the tropical gardens. The windows are equipped with custom blinds for privacy. Distinctive features include: Beautiful queen bed with an extremely comfortable gel foam mattress, custom- made tables, glass barn doors leading into a private bathroom with a beautiful Italian rustic white tile shower, a custom-made vanity designed from native Florida cedar wood, uniquely appointed furnishings and local artwork decor. There is a fully stocked coffee/tea bar area with a Keuring, mini fridge with water and microwave. Cottage has a Smart TV, free high speed WIFI and google home to access your favorite music. Everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay.

The location is ideal, as it's just a two or three minute walk from Bayshore Boulevard. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure we had a pleasant stay, even loaning us beach chairs and a cooler. The bed is comfortable and the space is clean. We would highly recommend this property and plan to stay there again if we come back to Tampa.

What a gem!! Our hosts, Kathy and Robert, were welcoming and attentive to every detail. The cottage and garden are delightful. The cottage is attractively decorated, comfortable and very clean. There were many thoughtful amenities and Kathy was available to answer any questions. The location is just a few blocks from the Riverwalk and close to a variety of restaurants. Tampa Marina area is only 10-15 minutes by car. Wonderful location! We look forward to a return for a longer stay

From the moment we stepped into the gated garden our hosts Kathy and Bob felt like long lost friends. They both walked us around the cottage and grounds showing us the ins and outs, letting us know they were here for anything we needed. I cannot say enough how perfect this cottage was, the amenities are endless and thoughtful; everything you need to feel at home. The cottage is in an amazing neighborhood and location. We will always make the cottage our first choice.

My mother and I were visiting my daughter for U. of Tampa family weekend. The location was the best! Walking distance to shops, restaurants, Bayshore. We enjoyed our interactions with Kathy. She was warm and helpful. I had a special request and she helped make that happen. We enjoyed our morning coffee in the beautifully landscaped courtyard. Both the indoor and outdoor space is unique and well appointed. Many custom touches throughout our stay. If you are interested in a unique, boutique stay I highly recommend this property.

I had the pleasure of staying at this stunning Florida oasis while moving my daughter back to The University of Tampa for her sophomore year, and it couldn’t have been more perfect. The location was ideal—just steps from Bayshore Dr. and close to campus—which made everything so convenient.Kathy and Bob were absolutely wonderful hosts, checking in daily to make sure everything was going well and to see if I needed anything. The property itself was spotless, quiet, and truly felt like a home away from home. The garden was magnificent—such a peaceful spot to relax and unwind after busy days of moving and organizing.I will absolutely be booking again and highly recommend this place to any parent visiting their student at UT, or anyone looking for a serene, welcoming stay in Tampa.

Perfect little cottage!

I booked this place while in town for my daughter's graduation from UTampa. It was just my husband and I so the fact that it was a 1 Bedroom cottage was ideal. The cottage is located in the back of their home, but they have a beautiful garden and sitting area which makes it feel somewhat private. The owners, Kathy and Bob, allowed us to enjoy their mutual sitting area which is nicely decorated and a great spot to sit and sip a glass of wine after a long day. The inside is nicely decorated, clean and comfortable. There is not a full kitchen, but again, all we wanted was a place to sleep, shower and enjoy a quick cup of coffee before we headed out every day. Also, their property is located only a block away from Bayshore drive which is a great place to go for a morning walk...and very close to all the great restaurants in SOHO. Kathy and Bob, could not be more gracious and friendly and we actually formed a nice friendship with them. Will definitely be back again!!

Peaceful, Convenient & Nice

It was less than 10 minutes from downtown Tampa but still a very nice neighborhood of houses. The back studio house had everything we needed. It felt bigger than it was. The owners were so sweet and texted us to make sure we were having a good time. I recommend to any couple visiting Tampa for a long weekend.

Hidden Gem

The cottage was tucked away behind the main house. It was like a secret garden with beautiful & unique spaces to discover in every corner of the yard. Inside there was everything you needed. Comfy bed and pillows along with cream for your coffee. You can tell that the hosts put great care into their rental. A hidden gem.

Backyard sanctuary!!!

Kathy and Bob were great hosts! Very welcoming and always made sure we had what we needed. The property is like a backyard oasis-lots of plants and comfy seating areas. The cottage is quiet, comfy bed and super clean! It is stocked with everything we needed. Kathy and Bob have thought of everything! The location can’t be near as it is close to Bayshore Blvd, downtown Tampa and UT. Very convenient! TPA is only about a 15 min dive. We would stay again for sure!

We love greeting guests to show them around and answer any questions We are available as needed throughout your stay and ONLY a text away as we live in the main house. If you want a personal suggestion, where to grab a lunch/dinner or what activity to do around town we can help with questions or recommendations and info about local beaches, entertainment etc.

Our inspiration for becoming hosts was natural, we love meeting new people, traveling and staying in wonderful unique places. Our goal is to offer other fellow travelers a unique & special place to stay that will enhance their travel experience to Tampa. Our cottage and surrounding gardens are just that. We have spent many years designing, building and creating what we call our private paradise and spiritual center.
