Nice quick getaway

We ended up booking this place for a last minute trip and we were really happy with it. It was close to walk to the beach and shops, but far enough away from the main area so it was nice and quiet. So much to do that we weren't able to fully utilize everything during our stay. Definitely plan on making a return trip in the future.

Cute Updated House with Issues (w/o fixes)

This is a nice updated 1 bedroom cottage. Only stayed 3 days. The layout is nice. But, understand a few things before renting this cottage. There is a grill in the pictures but no propane tank, which is unrealistic to use for anyone who flies in. The rental write-up does not state to bring your own propane tank. The thermostat has a printed laminated sign on it that states "Please DO NOT set the thermostat below 74 degrees - the coil has frozen causing the A/C has shut down." Since it's a laminated sign, it's obvious Vacasa has no intention to fix the A/C. If you like it cool in your sleeping area, this is not the rental for you. There is no hot water for the shower, but the rest of the house had hot water, in the sinks. The repairman was only a "runner" so he could not fix it. The next day I called Vacasa where they replied, "we will be calling a plumber soon." Until this is fixed you will be taking COLD showers in the only shower in the house. Resort badges and parking passes were mixed up when the Vacasa team gave my rental to someone else, where they charged my credit card for the badges and passes and gave them to someone else. With multiple attempts, I did get this refunded. There appears to be a serious lack of care for these rentals, which I'm not sure if the owners know this. I would definitely NOT rent this one again and seeing the ability for Vacasa to fix the issues, I do not plan to return to the Sea Colony again. For the cost of this rental, it's obvious Vacasa cares for the money they can collect and not the experience their guests receive.

Low stress

wife and I spent a week in Kamila's Volley Ct. unit in Sea Colony, We were very pleased with the week. First impression walking into the unit was bright, very clean and neat. Hint of cleaning solution. The layout has a master bedroom with a full bath(the only indoor shower). There is a small powder room out side the master so there is a bathroom while shower in use. The Sea Colony community is very well kept, no rotting wooden fences, flower beds had flowers. The best feature of Sea Colony is access to the trams that run through the community to the private beach all day long. We parked the car and either walked or used the tram for everything. There is a tram stop right out side the unit; so you can roll out of bed, get your suit on, grab a chair and cooler; walk 20ft; sit; wait for tram at 9:00am; put your stuff in the back; sit in the new van and take the 15 minute rest of the loop through the community to the beach. There are 3 restaurants in walking distance and the trams run to that shopping center. We also successfully use DoorDash to deliver food so they have access to get into the community. When we return to South Bethany, we would stay here again.

Weekend Getaway

This was a modern one bedroom condo that was perfect for the two of us. It was a minute walk from the tennis center where we spent some of our time. We were very happy with our accommodations.
