Cute condo

The condo was a little smaller than anticipated, but very well equipped and decorated. The proximity to the slopes was fantastic too! The walk from the parking garage, up the narrow stairs, across the icy walk, and up three flights of stairs while hauling ski gear, coolers, and bags for a family of four however was exhausting! I can't believe there is not a close place to park to drop your luggage or anything! That was the only drawback, but it was a big one.

Cozy condo for spring break family ski trip

We stayed in this condo with our family of 2 parents and 3 kids. The layout and bed setup was perfect for our family. We had plenty of space and didn't feel cramped. Easy morning walk to ski lifts. The biggest drawback to this rental is a lack of parking. We have family in Steamboat who basically worked as our personal valet service otherwise the parking situation would have been difficult. There is a pay garage you can overnight park in about .25 miles away. The unit is a tad dated but is very comfortable, cozy, and has a great view of steamboat ski resort. If there was parking overall rating would be 5 out of 5 stars.

I read carefully the day before that there was no parking. We have a diesel excursion with a rack for skis which did not fit in the parking garage around the corner so we had to park our truck mikes away at a free lot downtown. They logistics of unloading the car is not easy. Pretty messy business.

Reviews deserves an update

I had a moment of panic when I read the reviews but decided to take a chance given the time we went. People made it sound like the parking is a night mare and your hauling all gear up a giant hill. If you're lucky enough to score a parking in the gated parking, it's literally up a flight of stairs. If not, it's a short walk from the closet garage (about a quarter of a mile away).The building is dated, but the condo was very comfortable and large. Only issues we ran into was the main door in was broken, so had to go take a short walk to the other side and enter elsewhere (I'm leaving exact details out as this is a public review). The water heater was small, so for our family, we ran out of hot water. So waiting an hour was fine Overall, for the price, this was great value!

Very hard to unload suitcases and or groceries, etc. No close place to park to unload. The parking garage had no door coming in.... not very secure. It was very cold when we stayed, the basement bedroom was very chilly and didnt warm up at all. Kitchen nice, needs some utensils replaced. Nice pots and pans and dishes. Very little soap in any of the hand dispensers. The rugs were dirty and didnt seem like they had been vacuumed for awhile. I found the laundry room clean and readily assessable. Beautiful view but I probably wouldnt stay here again.

Bring a sled to haul your stuff!

Access to the building from your vehicle is very difficult. There is not a close drop point for your gear near the building. You have to haul it up a snow bank & down a 2 foot wide snow path, approximately 50 yards long before getting to the next 50 yards of sidewalk. Even walking from the building to the lifts and back was much less than ideal due to the trails & slippery snow banks. The description of “no parking” for the building is more than a bit understated! Even though there’s decent pay parking nearby, the overall accessibility was the poorest we have experienced in our 25+years of skiing. This place was a drag-We wouldn’t choose it again, given all the other options on the mountain.

Just straight crap!!!

Okay so the system is garbage. You have to park on the street which there is no street parking because of construction. Then go get your key fob from one of 100 lock boxes, go to your room, get your parking pass, go back to your car, park your car, take your bags up, take the pass back down to the car so you can display it on the dash, then maybe go to the room. Their system is the dumbest thing in the world. Also mattresses? Just sleep on the floor. You can tell whoever owns this spent as little money on mattresses & worse pillows & sandpaper sheets as possible. Like how can we make these beds as uncomfortable as humanly possible! Also no Air Conditioning so…hope you like being hot. Literally stay anywhere but here.

Well worth the listing!

The two drawbacks but definitely not drawbacks to sway an opinion to not rent this listing though: 1) the two queen mattress could be upgraded and 2) how to park underground the directions were confusing. This could be due to construction. Also note, this unit does not have AC. It did not affect our stay as the weather was only in the low 80’s but anything higher would have been miserable. Would book again.

Across the streets from the slopes!

We had a lovely stay at Steamboat! The decor was nice, it had a well stocked kitchen and it was a clean unit. We were literally a 2 minute walk to the slopes and could end the day at the T-Bar for a beverage. It was a quick walk to the village and short drive into town. The only downside was lugging bags and skis to and from the car. It was a bit of a hike but just gave us a little workout before and after driving. We would definitely stay here again.

Nice place

The unit was updated a few years ago and is attractive and comfortable. The Ski Time Square property is older and has an odd layout which makes it cumbersome for moving things like luggage and groceries between the unit and the parking garage. The location is very quiet and has good access to mountain activities.

Great Stay in Ski Time Square

This unit was wonderful for my family of three. It was very clean and well stocked with everything we needed. It took about five minutes to walk to a hill that we could pop our skis on and ski down to the base. We would absolutely stay here again next year!

We were pleasantly surprised when the description was actually accurate. The condo was clean and a great layout for our family of four. The kids shared the bedroom downstairs and we were right above them. We enjoyed the open concept and the kitchen was fully stocked with a keurig and regular coffee machines as well as microwave and toasters. The location was fantastic right across the street from ski time square. We had an amazing trip
