I enjoyed working with the host. Everything was smooth. Beautiful views and great property. Two bedrooms in basement area with cozy living room and bathroom along with private deck. Couldn’t use the hot tub due to some deck replacement but could still access most of deck along with a main floor deck and second floor deck. Master with spa tub was lovely and we enjoyed playing pool on second floor. Thanks for a lovely visit!
Hot tub was broken, tv broke, had roaches, light bulbs were out, shower door was about to fall off, pan/cup in cabinet dirty and growing mold, floors/couch not very clean, shower heads heavily blocked smooth water flow and faucets and sprayer missing pieces which also impacted water flow...very sad because could be a very nice cabin. Will not stay again.
Overall it was a good place. Reading the reviews before left me worried about the steepness of the driveway but it was fine for my van. The view is great plus you can see the zipliners going down the mountain. Communication with the host was fast. I only didn't give 5 stars for cleanliness because there were a few cobwebs in what I thought would be commonly used areas. Unfortunately when we were getting our checkin instructions we were notified that the hot tub was not working and getting replaced. Although I understand this is not the host's fault we were disappointed. Other than that everything is accurately represented.
The cabin was very cozy, the three bedrooms were clean and well stocked. The deck area has good views. The check in and checkout process was smooth. The drive and the parking were a little challenging due to the slope. We had seniors who struggled to walk up and down the steep drive way.
Unfortunately, our stay was very disappointing. The hot tub was unavailable, and we weren’t notified until the day of check-in even though looking back the reviews, it appears to have been an ongoing issue. They told us they were working to fix the problem, but I don’t believe this is true due to seeing other people’s reviews after the fact. The cabin itself had several maintenance problems, the living room TV didn’t work, extremely poor water pressure, bad enough to not be able to comfortably take a shower, and the power went out multiple times during our stay. We also couldn’t get the cabin warm. The thermostat showed a comfortable temperature (78) but it felt freezing inside the entire time. While we understand that cabins can have bugs, the number we encountered was far beyond what we expected. It wasn’t just small bugs that you would expect in a rural setting, there were many roaches throughout the cabin. We also experienced no power and the water being shut off the morning that we were trying to check out, leaving us to not be able to shower, brush our teeth, etc. before leaving and heading home. Overall, we were looking forward to a relaxing getaway, but the numerous issues made it difficult to enjoy our stay. I hope these concerns are addressed for future guests because we reached out to the owner multiple times and the messages went unanswered.
We really enjoyed our stay. There was plenty of room for all 5 of us. We had no issues with communication. The view from the back patios was truly amazing! Wish we could have stayed longer.

Liked: Check-in, location
Disliked: Cleanliness, communication
We booked this cabin because there was good ratings, but when we got there we found a few issues. We were excited to find a cabin that had a hot tub but I got a message the day before we were to check in that said the not tub was not working. It looks like that hot tub was not working for quite some time. It had racoons staying in. But that was a fun experience bc there was a mommy and babies that were not afraid of humans even though we kept our distance. The cabin was very dust and looks like in needed a better clean. There was dust all over the lights in the bathrooms and stuff on the master bedroom floor. The kitchen cabinets were broken and looks like they need some attention. The TV was broken in the Master bedroom. The bottom floor was like a freezer. So very cold while the upstairs was comfortable. My husband checked to make sure the furnace or ac unit was working properly and pulled out the filter that looked like it was never changed. The communication was poor. I didnt hear from the host for several days after sending a message. She did refund us for the hot tub not working so that was a plus. But that needs to come off the listing if its not going to be fixed soon. The view was amazing and the cabin is cute just needs some TLC.
We all had a fantastic time! The cabin is not too far from town but also far enough in the mountains that you get the secluded vibe! The cabin was very clean and well-kept! The view was so beautiful!
