What an incredible place to stay while you explore eastern Tennessee! This cozy cabin is tucked away in the woods where you have all the solitude and peace you could want. The cabin was easy to locate, clean, and well stocked. It was incredibly pet friendly- my dog had the best time exploring the yard. It was an easy drive to explore Roan Mountain, Johnson City, and even Smoky Mountains National Park. The host was so kind and responsive to all of my questions. I will absolutely be back again for more adventuring in the area!

The cabin was nice. A bit dark due to its location. It also rained while I was there which didn’t help. But overall it was a nice stay! Tara is extremely nice and was quick to respond when I texted her.

Quite and secluded

I had a nice stay in this wonderful little cabin, there's a small meadow near the gate where you park, I did see some deer in the morning and evening hours and some fireflies at night. Stayed the first week of July.

We loved our time here, my son and dogs enjoyed the creek so much and we enjoyed the privacy of the cabin. We ate every meal outside and had a fire every night. The folding camp chairs are a nice touch and we relaxed in them every evening. Thank you for a wonderful stay that my son will remember for years to come!

Weekend Get Away

The cabin was quiet and cozy! The property is beautiful. We would definitely come back in the spring to drink coffee on the porch and listen to the flowing creek!

Jake’s Cabin

Communication with the host was amazing. Jake’s Cabin is the perfect getaway spot to relax and enjoy nature. We enjoyed sitting on the covered porch every morning drinking our coffee and listening to the peaceful sound of the small creek on property. We explored the nearby towns and highly recommend future visitors explore Elizabethton. We also enjoyed the fireplace one evening as it was a bit chilly out in the evenings. Would stay here again without hesitation.

Mountain getaway

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was perfect for a weekend getaway to do some hiking and relax. The property is awesome. It was very relaxing and cozy nestled into the mountain. Listing is accurate, had everything we needed, good communication with host and easy check-in/check-out. We would absolutely stay here again.

The view

It was wonderful love the location the views around the town are great its close to everthing you need. Its a cozy pleace that was perfect for my husband and i plus our two dogs.

Old pictures, property was very overgrown, dark and damp. Tiny shower, no bathroom pictures posted on Vrbo. Bathroom was clean. Several kitchen issues, dull knives, broken drawers, freezer needed major defrosting. Several lights didn't work. Clean until you looked up. Lots of cobwebs above kitchen cabinets and on ceiling fan. Only handle lock on back door, no deadbolt. Did not feel completely safe way out in the country. Mouse in bedroom wall at night. Told host about issues and that we left 2 days early. No response for 36 hours after I sent another message. Said they were fixing a drawer and defrosted the freezer but found no mouse. Told them where and when heard mouse and where we thought it was coming in. No news about the mouse since. I did not ask for any money back but it certainly wasn't offered either.

Perfect little cabin

This cabin was great. It was cozy and had everything we needed to stay warm (it was in the negatives 🥶) Tara was very responsive to our needs. It was really a great little mountain spot. Would love to come back and see it in the spring time.

ETN Getaway

Delightful small cabin in a beautiful environment. Accessible to anything you would want or want to do. Everything was just as depicted in the listing & more. One word of caution..this would not work for anyone with limited mobility. Everyone else....come & enjoy.

Cozy Cabin in the Woods

This cabin was tucked away in the woods and was decorated so nice! It had everything we needed and more! The WiFi was an added bonus, as we weren't expecting that. My daughter and I were elsewhere each day we stayed, but it was a nice place to come to in the evening to unwind and get a good night's rest. Loved sitting on the porch swing on our last morning there. So peaceful and beautiful!

TN getaway

Our entire experience with this rental was very positive. The host was quick to respond to our initial reservation request and also answered me within a few hours when I asked her a question prior to our arrival. The cabin is beautiful both inside and out. You enter the property via a locked gate which makes you feel very secure while staying there. The hosts provide anything you could possibly need. The location is very convenient for outdoor activities in the Roan Mountain area as well as western North Carolina…and I must say the area is GORGEOUS! I would highly recommend this host and this cabin!

A little bit of paradise

This little cabin is tucked away out in the middle of nowhere it seems, but it's within 15 minutes of a store. It's so quiet and peaceful. The place is very lovely. It has a fire pit, a grill, wrap around porch with a porch swing. There's a hammock in the yard for relaxing at night. There were plenty of games at the cabin, a tv with Roku and netflix, and WIFI. There is enough bed space to fit 7 or 8 people I'm sure. There were 2 beds in the loft, a futon, and another bed in the bedroom. I could have slept on the hammock and been fine. If you are looking for a peaceful setting to get away with the family, this is the place!
