Peacocks, blacksmithing, buffalo, wildlife, a studio cabin by the pond.
Farmhouse Gallery & Gardens
As you drive through the covered bridge and enter our 73-acre family farm nestled between the mountains, you will understand why we want to share this special place with our guests. A nature-lover’s dream, our log cabin studio art gallery by the pond is now available for overnight stays — a unique opportunity to experience the artist’s inpiration.
The gallery has a separate, private guestroom with a queen sized bed, cozy bathroom with shower, small fridge with freezer, microwave, and single-serve coffee and tea maker with complimentary pods. The guestroom is connected to the gallery but has a separate keyless entry to the outside. After hours access to the common area is available for the enjoyment of our guests. A porch with table and chairs is also available for relaxing outdoors.
We live in an area rich in history, and the cabin dates back 250 years. We have always landscaped for wildlife and provided food and habitat for multiple species. Gardening has always been a key ingredient in our lifestyle, as well as cooking, canning, art, antiques and music. We also have a small buffalo herd, and Sammy Fathead, our buffalo bull, is always happy to greet visitors who come with us to his pasture. We have an authentic, working log cabin blacksmith shop, where our son Robin produces beautiful and functional artistic metal work. Johnny has been a wildlife artist for over 40 years, and his watercolors, prints, and pencil drawings are in the gallery, as well as the metalwork and other items we make here on the farm. Pat has had a commercial kitchen and catered and baked on site for nearly thirty years — you might get lucky and time your visit on a baking day, when she is preparing her goodies for a local farmer’s market. We look forward to welcoming you to our farm!

Wow! what a great place. It was easy, comfortable and tranquil. Pat was helpful and interesting. Her homemade granola bars are amazing. Wish we had more time. Next time!
This place was exactly what I was looking for. It was nice and quiet and very clean and made for a great base camp for exploring the area. Check in / check out was flawless, and if I’m in the area again, I will definitely book with Ms. Pat again.
I have been traveling and staying around the world for many decades and I must say that this was one of the most enjoyable and relaxing stays anywhere! From the animals to the old cabin with all of its precious antiques, we cannot wait until our next visit! Patricia and her family were beyond friendly and just made us feel so welcomed!
Such a beautiful spot with so much to explore plus easy access to the main road. Hosts were so kind and welcoming. Shared a lot about the history of the place and how they taken care of and evolved it over time. We'll have to come back to spend more time here!

The cabin and entire grounds were so pretty. I absolutely loved our host. Could not have found anyone nicer. My husband and I were booked to stay 2 nights and wished we could have stayed longer.
We were in town for a wedding and this was the perfect place for us to stay for a couple days. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. The owners were extremely kind and attentive to our needs. We would definitely stay again!
The spaces are small but they quite adequate for our needs. We prepared and brought meals that could be heated in the microwave and stored in the refrigerator. We had a lovely stay and attended the International Storytelling Festival!
Very quaint little cabin tucked away on a farm. Owners were very friendly and pleasant. Was a short stay but loved the atmosphere and got to visit with some of the animals. Would definitely stay again.
