A Lovely But Abbreviated Seaside Stay

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our 3 night stay was a 2 night stay due to Hurricane Isaias and Walton Co. declaring a mandatory evacuation. Our friends at Modica Market had prepared us for this possibility and rushed our order of filet’s so we would be prepared to leave. The Homeowners Collection staff let all renters know cottages would need to be vacated by 5:00 am Friday. Fortunately Tallahassee is reasonably close but less likely to feel Isaias effects so, Thursday we went for a run, packed the car, and had a leisurely breakfast at Black Bear. Returned to our lovely cottage, showered, emptied trash and started the dish washer and hit the road for home! Our only glitch was on arrival at Seaside. Our paperwork indicated the cottage had no designated parking—it did as Dylan in HCOffice told us. Our cottage did not have the usual digital entrance so Dylan sent the very helpful Nia to teach us how to enter the cottage. We would love to stay here again!
