Silver Lake Cabin is the perfect Up North Retreat! Enjoy time in the cabin, spacious backyard with fire pit, deck, or private frontage just a few steps across private drive on beautiful Silver Lake, with lakeside patio, private dock, and sandy bottom swimming!

* Silver Lake Cabin has rare longer term availability from September 2, 2025 -May 31, 2026 - perfect for a traveling nurse or someone in transition due to a move, building project, etc. Ask for rates & details if you’re in need of a transitional space without a long-term commitment!

The lakeside property is just across the private drive, and is specifically for use by guests at the cabin. Guests have exclusive use of the picnic area, patio & dock - they are not used by anyone else. Private lakeside access is less than a football field in length away from the cabin!

It’s the perfect place for a winter getaway - close to many ski resorts & a variety of lakes for ice fishing, snowshoeing , & plenty of room to park those trucks & snowmobile trailers in the driveway!


Other Things to Note:
* We provide enough toilet paper, paper towel, garbage bags & dish soap to get your trip started; additional supplies can be purchased at one of several grocery stores close by
* The cabin has well water. Some guests prefer to bring their own bottled drinking water
* Firewood is not provided, but can be found at various stores around town
* This property is available for monthly rent from September-May each year. Ask us about off season monthly rates!

Great location

Location was great, the house was perfect size for my family of 6. It was all we needed for a family vacation! The host communicated fast when we had questions, house was clean. We would definitely stay again!

Cozy house by the lake

The property was as advertised. The beds were comfortable and the house was clean. The couch was comfortable and easily fit all five of us while we enjoyed a movie. We were fortunate to see a baby bunny on the property also. It was a good location with easy travel to both Interlochen and Traverse City. I would stay here again!

Great relaxing getaway

The home was exactly as described, and we were really pleased with the cleanliness and condition of the home. The owner was very helpful. We enjoyed our time at the lake, and at the fire pit in the evenings. A very nice location for a family getaway!
