Enjoyed this place. It was located near a lot of attractions. Quiet neighborhood and friendly neighbors. Host was easy to get in touch with and responded right away. Would recommend this place.
Everything is beautiful! the only thing is that there one bed in a living area and we thought that it was a room other than that it looks better in person, everything is super close by!
We enjoyed our stay! The kitchen and living area were very good. The location was centralized to everything we needed. However, I would recommend using top sheets on the bed.

The home is dated. Although, the homeowners have attempted to make upgrades it still needs lots of work. The kitchen floors are a laminate and not a good one as the flooring buckles in certain areas as you walk. The appliances need to be upgraded and the bathrooms could both use complete makeovers. The home appeared to be lived in as there were daily used items in both baths as well as in the kitchen. The most disturbing feature is that there was a tarp on the roof being held down by bricks. Considering, the host is deemed a premier host these types of anomalies should not be a factor when renting from VRBO.
Check in was easy. Host responded quickly. The house was clean and comfortable. Neighborhood seemed pretty quiet and safe during our stay. Other reviews mention having problems with the keyless entry but we did not didn’t have any problems using it.
This was a family trip for my birthday. The location of the house was great. Peace and quiet and the vibe of the house was definitely family-oriented. We went to Jacksonville Beach & Neptune Beach & both were equal distance from the house.
We enjoyed our stay at this property. The only problem we had was the keypad was a little aggravating.

A “place to remember” is correct. This house was absolutely terrible. The River Gate Run was taking place the weekend we stayed in Jacksonville and the only reason we stayed the night after we walked into the house was because it was so late, we had three small children and there were very few places available. If the recent reviews weren’t burried on the website, we would never have elected to stay at this property. This is said to be a premier host and had 9.6 out of 10 stars, however, there were several soft spots in the floor throughout the kitchen that we were worried we might fall through. There was a hole in the ceiling in the living room that looked like a leak. None of the bedroom doors closed and the door handles were very loose. The mirror closet in one of the bedrooms was cracked and was a possible hazard. The pack ‘n play was filthy. The base boards were filthy. The wash towels were cleaned but we kept finding hairs that came off of multiple wash cloths when trying to bath our children. The beds and sheets were the only thing that were decent. We left early the next morning before our stay was up. Definitely would not recommend.
Host was sometimes difficult to reach. There were myriad problems with the house. So many to list here. From a soft spot in kitchen floor that gives-way when stepped on, to a loose toilet, non-operating lamps in the living room, a kitchen light with no globe that needed to be used if you wanted to see in the living room. But, the halogen bulbs from it hurt the eyes where seating was, to no bureaus in 2 bedrooms. But the real kicker was that it's advertised as 3 bedrooms, 2 Queens, 1 King....which is misleading, because the third bedroom had a twin low to the ground. The second Queen was in the DINING ROOM, with a folding partition for "privacy". There were spackle marks visible that should have been painted over and baseboards in some rooms had years of ground-in dirt on them. Beds were comfortable, potted plants were a nice touch, chargers with cloth napkins and lovely napkin rings were set out. But this house is LIPSTICK ON A PIG.

the photos of the place are years old. No play set like the photos show. The floor in the kitchen and around it sags bad due to water damage, unsafe for the elderly. The rest of the house is real nice and has a lot of potential with some needed maintenance.
Easy to find and in a secluded area, so very private. House was well kept and clean and bigger than expected. Comfortable beds and easy to use thermostat. Plenty of space for the little ones (4 years and the other 9 months) to play and run around.
Only thing that is needed to bring are frying pans if you plan to cook for many, but a grill is provided.
This house is perfect. The pictures don’t do it justice. I had 3 teenagers, my sister and my mom with me. Everyone had a bed to sleep in. The bathrooms are good size. The kitchen is fully stocked. The host is easy to work with and very accommodating. The next time I’m planning to be in Jacksonville, I will be checking to see if this place is available first.

The house was unique and worked for what we needed. The host was responsive and kind. The beds were comfortable and clean but the bathroom toilet was visibly not cleaned prior to our arrival and the floors were dirty and sticky which the host said she would address with the cleaners after our stay. The ad does show a yard with a playground we were excited to use, as we were traveling with a 3 year old but it was taken down a year ago which is not reflected in the ad. The doors do not shut ( I assume due to the humidity) and the bathroom floor gets very slippery from humidity as well. The is beautiful greenery right outside and makes for a gorgeous back drop. AC works great!
The house is situated in a quiet neighborhood at the end of a short, dead-end street, with other houses very close. All the neighbors and the tenants in the rental house were very friendly. It is conveniently located close to many restaurants and stores. The house itself is spacious, featuring four bedrooms and two bathrooms. I will definitely consider renting it again. The onlyconcerns I share with other reviews are that the keypad door lock can be problematic, and there are several soft spots in the floors. However, aside from that, I really enjoyed my stay and loved the house and if in the area again will rent again..
This was a super house for a family. The air hockey table was lots of fun. The house had a nice amount of space for hanging out and also for eating. We were able to celebrate Christmas there with the grandparents and cousins. The house was also very nicely decorated for Christmas. The host was easy to communicate with.
We were close to beach, and it was very quiet during the night
Only negative would be thermostat, it would keep resetting itself to 76 to 81. Not that bad though as it wasn't to hot
The house was great! What a wonderful layout of the house! Multiple areas to hang out. I just love it so much.. one thing I do recommend is changing the front porch carpet and changing the toilet. The carpet in the front porch makes it look dirty becasue of the stains. But overall we were pleased.
