Welcome to the Vermont Lake House North Bay, situated on a quiet dead-end drive on the North Bay of Lake Saint Catherine, offering incredible sunset views and private lake frontage on one of the best spots on LSC. With a lakeside patio and dock, large deck, horseshoes, fire pit, kayaks, and an expansive lawn, there is no shortage of ways to unwind and take in the serenity of this quintessential Vermont lake house, during every season.
The space Well-kept home has been updated throughout, and includes a smartTV with Netflix and Amazon Prime, high-speed internet access (enabling work from ‘home’), a master BR with sliders to the waterfront deck, books and games, spacious bathroom, and a well-appointed kitchen with granite countertops and a double-door fridge (no freezer; bring a cooler if you’d like – ice can be purchased nearby). There is a pack-n-play, and the deck has a gate to keep little ones from going down the stairs. The lawn does have a slight slope to it, so watch the kids. *Maximum occupancy is 8 adults.
The water is shallow near the dock for wading (NOT DIVING!), and drops off just beyond the dock – great for fishing, swimming, boating, and floating.
LSC boasts some of the cleanest water in New England, and is ideally located to take advantage of everything the area offers. The LSC Country Club just across the road has a challenging 18-hole golf course and restaurant & tavern open to the public. Within biking distance are the Slate Valley hiking and biking trails, with magnificent mountain and lake views. The fall foliage cannot be beat – and be sure to check out Hick’s Orchard. In winter, reach six ski resorts within an hour, bring your snowmobile just down the road to ride, ice fish or ice skate on the frozen lake, or snowshoe on any number of nearby trails and properties. Look to the charming towns of Manchester, Dorset and Rutland, 30 minutes away, for shopping and farm-to-table dining. Want to catch a world-class concert or watch the thoroughbreds run? Saratoga is a leisurely one-hour drive! There are several breweries and a winery nearby, too.
Then come back to the lake, settle into an Adirondack chair, and – if you’re lucky enough – catch a glimpse of the resident bald eagles.
Security cameras: One outside camera on the side the main entry, to view road and driveway. Another outside camera on the rear of the house to view the lake condition. A third pointed at the slate walk away. All cameras will be on during your stay .
Need more space? Check out VT Lake House across the lake! . *There is no freezer, there is an ice maker that makes ice in 7 minutes, we suggest bringing a cooler and putting ice in it.
**House does not accommodate more than 8 adults. If this is exceeded, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and/or charge the extra guest fee.

Wonderful house on lake. Very quiet and relaxing. Hiking was great. Close to other activities like Killington Ski Resort and The Vermont Country Store in Weston.Would definitely come back and recommend to friends.
We had an amazing weekend in this beautiful little cottage. It was perfect and a mile from the wedding venue at Whaleback Vineyard. I highly recommend and would definitely go back. The lake is amazing and we swam in the morning and used the stand up board. So beautiful. Thank you again.
Everything was updated and new. It felt like home. Beatiful location..no AC and it was hot even with all the fans Aside from the hot weather, Jesse thought of everything. We loved it.
The property is in a great place on the lake, and the house is very inviting. We enjoyed sitting on the deck, relaxing by the water, and hanging out playing games in the house.
We did enjoy our stay here. The lake was beautiful, the house was super nice. I would definitely come back later... i bet during summer this place might be gorgeous too
Jess was amazing with communication. The house was adorable and had everything we needed for a quick get away. Mountain and lake views were beautiful. The kids enjoyed using the site canoe and kayaks.
Could not rate this property highly enough. The cabin is characterful and well equipped and the view and lake access just perfect. A quiet haven from the world. Thank you so much!

Thank you so much for your glowing review! Come back any time!
House itself has all that one needs for a pleasant stay on the water. Lake has minimal boat traffic and water was perfect for swimming. We also had fun with the 2 paddle boards, kayak and canoe. Golf course just down the road was fun: great staff, treated kids well.
My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was very clean and nicely decorated. The lake is lovely. Great communication from Jesse. Thanks again for a wonderful trip. We would love to come again.

The house is great. The location is perfect. The inside of the the house is adorable. Very quiet in fall, peaceful times sitting at the lake. Clean house, plenty of space. Would stay again.
Property is as advertised. Great location. Close to Otto's for putt putt golf and ice cream as well as Lake St Catherine CC. Beautiful views of the sunset from the dock. A must visit.
We had a great week up in beautiful vermont. The house was very clean and the master bed was super comfortable. We swam in the clean lake, fished and boated. We would definatley rent this place again. Thank you!
It was a good property to stay at even though it was winter. View was awesome and it was a really good vibe, would recommend it and stay again. Jesse was really nice and easily reached when I needed some questions answered as well. Overall a nice experience.
Over the years we have stayed at several lakeside properties. This one had such lovely views, short distance to lake, great kayaks and toys and a clean clear lake. The rental was sweet and compact. Had eveyrthing we needed and was such a great location. Highly recommend Lake St. Catherine and this property for a true lake vacation.
My mom and I stayed for just a few days on a visit to my son. The host was easy to get in contact with and pleasant to communicate with. The property is very nice and on a quiet place on a beautiful lake. I loved that the SUP boards and tubes were available for use. I will definitely keep this property on my favorites list!
We escaped to your lovely place, pre-season, for a peaceful getaway before my birthday. It was perfect! Loved the kayak, the deck, the two lower levels at the water. Sweet!!

Thanks so much for staying with us! So glad you enjoyed it.... and Happy Birthday!
The house on the lake was clean, neat, very comfortable, and warmly inviting. It was well equipped with most everything we needed for a relaxing week. It had a nice view from the back deck, where we ate outside on the big table. The waterfront had another nice deck area and dock for enjoying lake activities. The owner was very kind and helpful when we arrived back home and realized we forgot something while packing!
We thoroughly enjoyed staying here. The home was clean and as described. The beds were very comfortable and everything (wifi, tv, etc) worked very well! It would be a wonderful summer spot with direct access to the lake, a fire pit and kayaks. We'd definitely recommend it highly!
We did have a problem with the VRBO app and getting into the home. But Jesse, the owner was accessable and helped us out!

Thanks for the great review! Yes the VRBO app wasn't sending messages for some reason, but access to the house was only a problem since the door code isn't active until 15 minutes prior to check in time and you arrived over an hour early.
