This gorgeous condo, situated directly on South Beach with an incredible view overlooking the beautiful ocean waters can be your next deluxe vacation. The beach is steps away and our neighbors to the immediate south include the W and Setai.

South Pool
The South Pool is the first that you’ll encounter from the mezzanine level at the Roney Palace. This pool will be closed until may 2024.

Cabana Pool
As you continue walking around the deck, you’ll reach the Cabana Pool. This long, narrow pool is where you’ll find cabanas, daybeds and lounge chairs, as well as a Sandbox bar with shaded tables and seating. It feels like a secluded VIP section, but everyone at Roney Palace and 1 Hotel has access.

Main Pool
Continue up a set of stairs and you’ll reach the Main Pool, a vast rectangular oasis with lily pad-like lounges seemingly floating on the surface. You’ll find a variety of cabanas and lounge chairs here, as well as the main Sandbox restaurant with a bar, tables and cushy lounges where you can dip your toes in the sand and enjoy fresh coastal fare. There’s also an oversized hot tub, yoga deck and cement ping-pong table.

Rooftop Pool
While the rooftop pool is reserved for guests of 1 Hotel, guests of the Roney Palace can enjoy the views, cocktails and sushi from onsite Watr restaurant. The rooftop pool was designed by New York-based Nikola Gradisinki of NGNY with white upholstered cabanas, lounge chairs and overstuffed sofas lining the long, narrow pool.

1 Beach Club
Before reaching the beach beyond the property’s gates, a labyrinthine, landscaped private oasis awaits at the foot of the stairs beneath the pool deck with 1 Beach Club. Lounge beneath the seagrape trees or indulge in sea-to-table cuisine at Wave restaurant.

Beach Service
On the sands of South Beach, Roney Palace residents enjoy complimentary towels provided by dedicated beach attendants, as well as the option to have beach chairs and umbrellas.

Convenient location

A beautiful condo, however, I had requested an early check in but I understand that it’s not always available, however - upon check in, literally a few minutes after the check in time, the maid was still cleaning, items weren’t restocked and we learned we aren’t allowed to open the windows or use the AC. There’s an actual sign stating that. The water pressure was awful in the shower and it didn’t get warm and the bathroom wasn’t fully clean. We received a text stating that the prior renters left a “hot mess” and the pull out bed was broken. In general, the price of staying there, you’d think everything would be in order. And no open windows or AC? With the AC off, the condo is very muggy and has a musty smell. Lastly, prior to check in, I had said via the VRBO messaging that I wouldn’t need an amenities card due to my friend staying at the One and my name was on her room. The messages about this was VERY clear. Upon checkin, we weren’t provided with an actual key for the elevator to access the unit. Every time we needed to go up to our floor, we had to talk to security. We were told a key could be made on Monday, as the office was already closed - come Monday and Tuesday, rather than supplying an elevator key, it was a back and forth conversation with the property manager. It was very clear in the message history about not needing the $100 amenity key, but what kind of place doesn’t provide an access key? For a bit more, you’re better off staying at the One.

South beach fun!

Remember, this is not a hotel. Towels and linens have to be washed during your stay if needed. Honestly, no big deal and property has very nice washer and dryer units on each floor. You will need to purchase more toilet paper so you might as well pack a few rolls. Condo was clean and well stocked with kitchen items. ID card is very important for access to 1 Hotel. Very annoying to get chairs by pool during busy seasons. I literally had to get there by 7:30 and they expect you to not leave chair for greater than 30 minutes. Communication with host/ property manager descent overall.

Perfect Getaway

We LOVED our stay! The apartment was spotless with great decor and the best view of the 1 Hotel pool and beach. Communication was seamless, and the host was incredibly accommodating. Can’t beat the access to the 1 Hotel amenities, and we can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend!
