Stayed at the property for the school winter vacation for skiing. Property was clean, well maintained and comfortable for 2 families with teenagers. We were able to ski at multiple mountains easily with less than a 1 hour drive to each.
The hose was easy to communicate with and very helpful making us comfortable upon arrival. Great kitchen and eating arrangements made for memorable meals with all the family members.
We loved our time at this rustic house. It is well equipped : great beds, great kitchen, good bathrooms. very spacious and very clean. Hailey the owner was always available for communication and help. She even came herself to fix the internet. We appreciate all the personal touch and the family souvenirs. The stone fireplace is wonderful. Hailey gave us great advice for restaurants and things to do. Her recommendation of Jericho's Café and Tavern was appreciated since it was excellent . It is quintessal Vermont experience.. We highly recommend it.
You can't help but relax when you are hanging out at Finnegan's barn ! Loved the rustic vibe and eclectic décor. Fireplace is super toasty and a really nice place to have après ski cocktail hour and play board games after dinner. Haley was the best - just an awesome host. Thoroughly enjoyed the sauna. Check out Mill River Park just down the road in Underhill for a walk or short XC ski. Fantastic views of Mt Mansfield. Also the Jericho Country store and the Snowflake Bently exhibit at the Old Red Mill were local highlights.
We arrived on Christmas Eve to see the house decorated with white lights, candles and greenery, it was such a warm welcome! We spent a week relaxing, skiing, exploring local restaurants and businesses.
Our family came to Vermont from Atlanta to visit our son and his fiancée who live in Westford. The Barn was the perfect place for us to relax and regroup every day before and after sightseeing and spending time at our kids’ farm. We loved all of the family photos and antiques that fill every inch of this special place. It tells a beautiful story and brought back so many memories of spending time at our grandparent’s homes as children. Thank you, Haley, for an amazing stay. You are a wonderful host!

We had a blast! Looking forward to our next visit! Thanks, again, Haley!
We had a great time! We were about 25 minutes from Stowe with great swimming holes, hiking, and breweries :)
It was a great house for groups since it is an open concept so we could all hang out with the folks who were doing the cooking!
One thing to note -- it's pretty close to route 15 which has some fast-moving cars, but there was even a lead for the dog!
Thank you for everything! We loved it!
Our stay at the Cloverdale Barn was nothing short of pure magic. The gorgeous setting and the attention to details provided a wonderful place where my family made beautiful memories. We so appreciated Haley’s suggestions, and during our week stay we managed to take advantage of bits and pieces of it all. The love that went into the renovation of this barn is palpable and our time there fed our souls.
Loved the house. It was spotless. Well equipped and super comfortable. Would definitely come again. Great fireplace and vinyl record collection. Thank you for sharing your home.
"The Barn" is simply one of the most magical stays my family has had on a vacation. Hayley has put every ounce of blood, sweat, and tears into this brand-new, old school barn. Every detail of the home has been meticulously planned and crafted, and every single thing is thought of from extra phone chargers, to anti-bacterial wipes. Before we pulled out of the driveway we already booked another week at The Barn in March!

I love to ski, cook, and spend time with family. Vermont is the perfect setting for all those things!
Why they chose this property
My grandpa put an apartment in the barn in 1970. I recently updated it and it's the reason I live in Vermont. It's a special space.
